Watching them always brings me to tears. They skate with such love and passion, they skate in a way that we normally don't see now a days. People use to say that they had something to prove, braking away from the USSR team and instead skating lot Lithuania, and maybe they did. But if it's one thing i have noticed about these two starts is that they skated for the fans, and for themselves. They projected such passion and excitement, that it could get the people going and wondering what would they come up next. These two have been my inspiration when skating, even though I don't do ice dance, I wish to skate with such security as these two. Such an underated pair of stars. These two deserved so mich recognition.

I'm normally not a phantom fan but I like so many of this couple skates to this day. This free dance is the best phantom of the opera skate ever in my opinion. I bet they choreographed it themselves.

I went to see them many years ago - perhaps 20 years ago when they did a show in Lithuania with lots of other pro skaters - it was so beautiful seeing them skate live that I cried! Wonderful couple

Watching them is always a bittersweet experience for me. I almost manage to forget the under appreciation that they have been subjected to which has been a slap in the face not only to these amazing skaters but also to our nation. And oh how many times... The support and appreciation from the viewers means so much - the love of the audience makes a champion and not the scores corrupted judges who know no shame.

It bothers me how wonderful they are. I mean really, I haven't seen half of these moves by American or Russian teams. They deserved so much more than they were given.

Glorious! This performance was the complete package. Technical savvy, impassioned choreography and virtuoso dancing. Margarita is so beautiful and expressive!

Really interesting... on practically every You Tube clip of this team EVERY one agrees, they were undermarked in their career....this was terrific... really a shame how the judges marked them down.

They should have been 2nd at this competition and Dubreuil/Lauzon should have won. D/S only deserved being 3rd, I don't know how they got the gold with such a sloppy program. Yes, they were superior in 2004 and in 2007 but not in that certain year.

they should have wun. the increase of the canadians between olympics and worlds was ununderstandable.

@@nipaipo36100 Well, Dubreuil/Lauzon were lying in 4th after the Compulsory Dance at the Olympics, they also had a shot at the medals there. However, both couples made mistakes in the Original Dance. It's maybe just a personal taste but I think that the Canadians delivered a kind of magic with their performance that even D/V couldn't reach that night. And yes, judges' scores for D/V were laughable as always -_-' The 2000's were not to be taken seriously when it comes to judging, that part was unbearable to watch. You watched figure skating for being entertained and not for expecting fair results. Really weird times.
