I wouldn't read too much into it tbh. She probably pre warned her daughter that it was going ti happen. I think it was probably a little staged. In my opinion..

That conversation is awkward enough without a film crew in the room and knowing it will be aired across the world. Melissa should have had that conversation in private. Not every moment is meant for the show. Especially moments with the children.

I’m so happy the kids aren’t seeming to have any issues that Joe and Theresa are dating other people. I had the hardest time with that when my dad died and my mom started dating. Not easy to accept change, awesome for them!

In marges defense, she’s so annoyed by Jenns ignorance that she couldn’t accept an apology. Anyone with half a brain knew that marge didn’t sleep with her boss to get ahead. All the other women understoodThat it was a power situation when she first mentioned it in Lake George, even Teresa who is a moron understood that. The fact that jen needs to be explain in detail the dynamic between an older powerful man and a young girl shows how ignorant, how small minded, and how plain stupid she is.

I'm sorry but it seems that she's changing the narrative to sell her book and I don't respect that. She even said it herlsef that it wasn't a Harvey Weinstein situation but then on Twitter she talks about the MeToo movement. All her bosses were married and they were wrong for sleeping with her.

Melissa really is just clueless. Why would she attempt to have such a personal conversation on TV? I’m mortified for the child. Margaret is being unfair here. You're telling Jennifer about not being able to sense her environment to see how she is perceived but yet there you are planning girls trips and sitting on a yacht sipping high priced alcohol. The truth is there will always be the poor and disenfranchised and no amount of downplaying your privilege will change that. Don't make rich folks feel guilty for how they choose to spend their money. Some people get a raw deal in life and just because someone is rich today doesn't mean they'll have all that money tomorrow. She's projecting onto Jennifer. That's how she would feel if she were poor and saw someone talk about their financial privilege. That's not how all poor people think. That's just life.

Also, education isn't just subjective on a formal sense....Jennifer isn't cultured. Additionally, she has this outright pompousness that I can't stand, all while looking tacky. Although I find her retorts to be witty at times, she has a lot of negative personality traits that outweigh the good ones. Teresa and Joe co-parenting seems to be really working out well :) . It seems amicable on all sides. And yeah, Marg was wrong for doubling back to try and blame Jen for the story when she did indeed deliver it differently from how it was written. AND Jen has every right to post whatever she wants on her social media. Jen doesn't have to cater to what's going on in the world if she wants to share truthfully what's going on in HER life. Plus if she ended up hiring a housekeeper from that social media post, she would have legitimately helped someone out who needed a job.

I only started NJ season 9, but as for Gia, I totally agree. She reminds me of watching Brielle Zolciack Beerman mature on RHOA and Don't be Tardy. I loved how she rationalized her mom and dad's issues being non of her business. I just read that she reached out to Jackie about the analogy and was offended, but I'm sure she did it in a respectable way, Teresa on the other hand, it looks like her and Jackie will be battling again at the reunion.
