Tonight, we return to a 2012 conversation about debt with writer Margaret Atwood, whose narratives and non-fiction works have been influencing readers around the world for more than half a century. Here, she discussed debt as a motif and theme, especially in 19th century literature, the topic of her book, "Payback: Debt and the Shadow Side of Wealth," based on the 2008 Massey Lectures and which later became a documentary.
