Enjoyed both these 2 vlogs on Discovery 2.and have now subscribed and looking forward to more vlogs of the ship.We sailed on Discovery in 2019,and loved every minute of the cruise/holiday.We are now booked on this ship and sail in September this year around the Med.for 2 weeks.We loved everything about the ship,and chose to sail with Tui again rather than another cruise line.Thanks again

Great review, just returned from a week cruise, fab time and brilliant entertainment...deck 6 is best ,coffee port and fantastic outside cabin

Thanks for that, interesting point my wife made was that nobody ever mentions the excellent medical facilities on Marella ships, hope theyre never needed but nice to know they are there.

Brilliant video, very comprehensive with the perfect amount of narration. I've cruised with a variety of cruiselines but not yet with Marella. We've been looking at a cruise on Discovery 2 departing from Singapore and your video has been extremely helpful. Have you done a video on restaurants on Discovery 2?

@@sharpetravels We booked today for March 2024. Thanks again! There are lots of bad reviews for Discovery 2 but I thought your video had integrity and I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time. It's a great itinerary.

Did you encounter rough seas ? I'm wanting to do my 1st cruise and afraid of sailing?

The sea was rough a few evenings when we sailed. We will talk about this in a video. Our suggestion is to book an inside cabin as you will feel less motion. The captain on board kept us up to date about potential stormy weather. Overall, though you are kept so busy and distracted, you don't really feel anything. The most I felt it personally was sat on the toilet inside the cabins x

My husband was definitely not up for a cruise at all. He thought he would be bored and hated the idea of being stuck in the middle of nowhere. I was worried about sea sickness, but it was nothing like a standard day boat. 😀

@sharpetravels I've just got back from Croatia and seen the TUI ship in Gruz. Wow it looked amazing. The cruise she wants to go on is around Italy - Croatia - split- and Malta I think...

That sounds lovely, and I am guessing only one day at sea, which is perfect. It allows you to get around the ship during this time. We liked our cruise because during the day, we were generally in port/land based, and we travelled evenings/overnight, so less time to notice any movement at all 😀
