Beautiful minds say that music is a flight of imagination, but I like to say that music is the cheapest plane ticket because when you close your eyes and just listen, you could be anywhere. When I started working on this composition, in my thoughts and feelings I was already in Malta. I could clearly remember the first time I was there - surrounded by the sea, the rocky cliffs and sandy shores, taking in all the unbelievably beautiful sunsets and magnificent views. I remember feeling this overwhelming internal and external freedom, literally giving me a jolt of energy to breath, smile, be inspired and to work and create. I wish that this can take you there and that even the smallest part of this sentiment could reach you.
