Mardyke Diesel Gala - Barnards Miniature Railway Day 2 18/09/16

Day 2 was to bring more locos in the form of D100 Western Enterprise and 47718 Niseag from the Swanley Barn Railway in Kent. A DMU 101 was also brought over from Chesterfield.
Double headed duffs and double heading western locos are to be seen this time as well as a special staff train of a rarely used railbus.
Shots from the recently extended Angel Green are also to be seen.

the class 55 and class 43 look like the ones that used to be at croxteth park miniature railway, always wondered what happened to them when the railway was abandoned

Thanks mate! I was surprised at the detail in the DMU too! Very nice! I never got a ride not that I didn't want to its just I was too busy filming :)

727,968,667,890 views hi, For an adult return trip it will cost you £6, for an adult all day rover it will be £10. A child return will be £5 and an all day rover is £8. Under 3’s travel free. Hope this helps -Nathan

I have this older copy of the model engineer, I see there an article of this park full of steam and even a belgian type 12, but ow its all diesel and diesel?? that's sad of true

@@gregoryvanderdonckt6028 barnardsminiaturerailway.eu/the-exmoor-collection/ I found their website with a link to lists if their loco fleets. It looks like the video was of the Mardyke Collection (again in the title of the video) but there appears to be a few steam locos still based there.
