He was just 17 when he performed at the Christmas pre jam in Asheville. He had a baby face, but when he opened his mouth and started ripping on his guitar, he took my breath away! He is also an activist for mental health. He IS phenomenal 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

He comes by it honestly. His dad was legendary musician in the south and beyond. It’s in his DNA. The kid is the real deal.

Everyone needs to remember that people are still out there like this. People need to turn the radio off and surf unknown artists.

By searching is literally how I found a lot of artist I had no idea of. I just happen to tune into the TV show tonight show with Jimmy. I normally don’t watch just cause I’m sleeping or whatever and it was meant to be when I listened to Marcus King and that song Delilah oh my gosh I was like on it. He is awesome. He is so mellow humble, I’m looking forward to more of his music. I have listened to the Delilah song that he had played over and over and over and over and over 1 million times. He is definitely a wonderful musician writer artist I am so happy I watched that show that night 2024.❤

He’s one of a kind. He’s also a very kind and loving person. And I agree with you. Marcus is the real deal. He’s been playing guitar longer than he can even remember. If you get the chance to see him live, don’t pass it up. He’s what people like Kid Rock and Hank Junior wish they were.

For 5 years I have been telling people to get on Board the Marcus King train. Homesick reached parts of me I didn’t know were still there in the basement. Here he goes again with Delilah trying to come home. Nostos. We Aries that’s all we do: try to get home. You’re not alone, Marcus. I’m on the same path following your steady footprints to home.

You know that kindness and compassion is what I found so striking about him. Warren Haynes discovered a beautiful diamond when Marcus showed up.

I remember seeing him playing at Norman’s guitar shop in a video in 2014 and I started following since then. I’ve seen this guy live 3 times. First time at Stubbs in Austin, then jazz fest in NOLA and the Aztec in San Antonio. About to see him again in Chicago. I feel proud to see him at this point knowing him since almost day one. I’ve been rooting for him since then. 🤘

I've been a fan since 2017 and haven't been feeling the last two albums but this song gives me hope this record will bring back his blues sound and less of that honky tonk. I fell in love with his blues rock and I've missed it.

We are witnessing history in the making. Everything he touches Will be gold. Way further than any artist at his age. His voice sends shivers all over my body. So much soul. Every cent spend seeing himtwice live were so worth it and cant wait for a third time. He never disappoints and his band. He is keeping great music alive.
