Literally every country hypes there players. It’s just that England has the most dominant media in the world along with America so everyone sees it. I couldn’t tell you anything about what goes on in Portugal because I don’t know Portuguese but everybody knows English!

I don’t see how people can laugh when England have been doing better in recent years than most countries. Last three tournaments have been Semi Final WC 2018, Final Euro 2020 and Quarter Final WC 2022. Apart from France, England also has the deepest squad of talent in the world so the future is bright. If people want to laugh at that then that says more about them than about us..
