It’s criminal how underrated Ace is. His songs have so much knowledge, he talks about real stuff, he’s so smooth with his lyrics and flow it’s crazy. I’ve never heard a bad Masta Ace song, no cap

i saw masta ace still perform at a club with less then 30 people, and no one was engaging except maybe 10 of us. and he still went in on stage, like it was jammed pack. i respect the fuck outta that, masta ace remains one of my favourite artists and this is a huge reason why, he was down to chop it up after the show with us to. straight legend.

Kids kids calm down hahaa. He’s not underrated. Eminem literally copied his flow 😂. 50 and buckshot said they wouldn’t be nothing without born to roll. He’s one of the greatest rappers of all time. Every NY rapper messes with him - boogeyman cuz he killed him with acknowledge.

I love hip hop and rap, and Masta Ace shows that its for everybody, not just black people but whites, Latinos, Asians, and just everybody. Something everyone can listen to. That's a real rapper. Not someone who's saying nigga this nigga that but showing he's not someone for just the click clack where anyone can rap commercializing crap saying fuck that but turning the next page where anyone from any race or age can get on the stage and spit because gangster life aint just it but for painters racers and art majors. So kick the can as far as you can but you aint gunna get that far because money ain't just it fam. Neither is the fame or the booty because that shits lame, no disrespect but these people don't have talent they dont put the pen to the paper they just sell it. But rap, I fell for it. An escape from the harsh reality. Something everyone can see.

Man, Masta Ace is objectively one of the greatest to ever do it. Not only he has been putting out music for decades but he has got better with time. And this track in my opinion helped to keep good quality old school hip hop alive in a decade when it seemed to be dying slowly. So props to him and Marco Polo.

Masta Ace and Nas are in my top 4 favorite Emcees, together with AZ and Redman.
This joint is timeless. This is the type of hip hop that needs to be on the radio. Not some rap that nobody can't understand like mumbling
Straight UNADULTERATED Hip Hop! The refresh!
Classic, timeless, real hiphop never die!!!
How did this not sell 10 million copies, get 1 billion views and earn 5 Grammys is beyond me.
240p and beyond! respect. 👍🏼😁💎 Hip-Hop Lives!!! 🙏🏻🎤✌🏼
Hip Hop excellence = Masta Ace & DJ Marco Polo
Faith in Hip-Hop restored. For 5 minutes...
Remember getting Masta's first album postin high at age 13, I still have it, so much respect 4 him, London UK
80s and 90s was that last good years. So thankful to be alive

True Hip Hop For Life Man.
Man, Masta Ace is objectively one of the greatest to ever do it. Not only he has been putting out music for decades but he has got better with time. And this track in my opinion helped to keep good quality old school hip hop alive in a decade when it seemed to be dying slowly. So props to him and Marco Polo.
