A lot of people doesn’t realize that he has 2 separate singing careers. In the 80s he made famous the Grupera music as leading Los bukis at the same time writing successful music for other artists. He made careers then he became a solo artist and started to sing ranchera and classical music. He is awesome and a unique talent.

I'm sure you're aware that he is one of the biggest artist the best voice and hes been out like 40 years maybe,

A family friend died last week and this song hits hard from the perspective of losing a family member. Si no se fuera ido…estaría tan feliz. 😢

He actually composed this and other wonderful songs for Marisela's debut album. He is super talented, and you are too, Derek! Love.

I think he brought out the beauty in her voice by composing for/with her. She has equally heart moving songs

I played this song today I sang in front of my dad and his best friend and my dad’s friend is a singer he is a Chicago Singer and he was teaching me this song and he also explained to me how to hear myself and to close my eyes and I practiced with him 4 times now I am used to singing the words I hope to sing it in front of my family and Chicago
