My daughter was seriously into guitar, then she heard Hendrix and stopped all practice. "I can never be this good!" was her logical conclusion. Please, if you hear this young man perform, do not become discouraged! He once was learning to play, and more than once he heard someone far better than he was at the time. But he never gave up! He was inspired by Giants, not scared off! "I am not good enough!" is only 1/2 of what is true. I am not good enough, yet!" tells the rest of the story! Love the skills you have, and they will grow.

I think this is innate as well, when I see people like this, it motivates me to be better and exciting that I could reach that level, I enjoy the progression.. to others it makes them want to give up because they want quick answers and quick progress
