Normally the witches box is so respectful of different practices, and I've never seen anything disrespectful or appropriative in their boxes before. I'm really shocked by their casual use of the word voodoo in a blatant stereotype of the religion (the "voodoo doll"). I'm even more shocked that there seems to be no explanation for their intent or attempt at justification.

paper voodoo… hm. interesting decision on their part. I sure hope that they’re doing research into what they’re sending out and selling at 75 a box. I normally love these unboxings and got the Venus box myself… but this maybe me feel a bit odd. you’d think they wouldn’t send out stuff from closed practices.

How that I’m thinking about it: you would have to be subscribed to these guys for about 6.5 years and you’d technically have a full tarot deck. How cool would it be to have a mashup of all of those cards, or even start building mini decks of all the cards from that same deck?? I love these videos, and they always inspire me to do more with my spirituality. I desperately need someone to talk to about all of this; it’s been hard to find the magick in the mundane lately and keep it up. Has anyone got any tips for me to be able to do that??

I have been having my eye on their store for a while, but to be honest I am glad that I did not start my subscription up yet. $75 for all of this seems a bit overpriced to me, especially considering that it also being listed separately from the subscription box for 89$

I missed this box having signed up at the very beginning of this month. Funny that it aligned with what I was studying at the time. I’m excited to get my first box for April! 🤍
