I had the same feeling in Japan. It felt really safe and no one really gives your the side eye the way they sometimes do in the states. Changed my life for sure.

I will say this: I got emotional on the bullet train two days after being in Japan. It was the first time I understood what it feels like to be safe and not keep my guard up 24/7. Live changing experience.

5:10 for the 3 vlogs it'd be nice if you 1) show places/sights not often visited/featured by everyone else or something you genuinely liked (even if it's just a random street or row of houses) 2) show shops not known to the rest of the world that offer really good clothes (maybe even something budget?) something similar to the jewelry you got. I'm not into them but I'm glad you gave them a proper feature! 3) same concept to 2 and 1. show places that are not often featured in other content creators. hole in the walls and stuff, especially aesthetic coffee shops. awesome stuff man. been following you for years at this point (I think the first vid I saw you in was when you were doing a tutorial on how to look more fit with the stretching your shirts out) not sure if I immediately subbed right then but yeah awesome stuff as always

Brands here in the Philippines is kinda expensive and out of my budget. I try and go to thrift shops which can be a little bit limited for good styles of my size. I will still try and find things that can me stylish for me. Thank you.

Great video! Totally agree that Japan is 100% a "feel safe" space. I'm American but I spend a lot of time in other countries, and I feel safe in all those spaces more than I do in the US. Maybe the US is just a mess or maybe I don't appreciate the local nuances of the other places.

It'll be dope if you can talk more about what you think the Western society and fashion community can learn from the Japanese counterparts, in terms of the fashion mindset (usually quality reigns supreme over hype), storytelling (I find Japanese brands focus more on that), focus on societal harmony and respect (North America sorta lacks that these days), etc. Great video as usual. Cheers!
