I chose footage from the Teutonic order because that one fit the most to the song.

Despite the song in itself being powerful and inspiring it must be said that the lyrics are not in latin, or at least they written in a mocked version of the language. There are words that literally don't exist (I have never come across the word "prosay" in 4 years of translating latin and even after looking it up on the dictionary I have found nothing) and others that are spelled in cases that are completely wrong like "legionus", it belongs to the third declination and in none of the 6 cases in singular or plural it exists. Not to mention or the grammatical errors (what on earth is "in veritae" supposed to mean? If it was meant to mean "in truth" then it should have been written "in veritate") and sentences that do not make any sense at all ("rex regis univers" literally is "King of the king universe" with "univers" being a word that is not spelled correctly and doesn't exist in that form in latin). And there are a lot of similar errors that makes impossible a proper translation and the comprehension of the text. That being said, I appreciate the effort in translating it but it remains the fact that the lyrics are probably more similar to an alien language rather than to latin.

Could is possibly be an older version of Latin?

@@Herrworth as I see it, it is most likely that the text is based on real latin words but written in a completely made up way. In fact, the meaning of the song is a bit understandable if words are taken one by one (the ideas of warriors of the faith, the light of god etc.) but on the whole the grammar is wrong. Probably the writer preferred to create a song that sounded good with sounds that at least resemble the ones of latin and I believe that, all in all, this goal has been reached. That is why I am sure that this is not latin in any way of any age. If you take for instance the medieval "carmina burana" you will notice that the latin is, in spite of some vulgar forms, well written and all in all similar to classical latin contrary to this song.
mooi 😮
