Your pronunciation of decals makes me smile every time. In the US the pronunciation puts the emphasis on -cal and the “e” is a long sound almost a double ee. Your glazing is incredible Lisa. Love all the combos! Stay warm, spring is just around the corner!! 🌻🪷🌺🌸🌼

I was wondering if you could share with me your lovely cranberry studio glaze recipe..ive always mixed my own underglazes then clear glaze on top..but my husband just bought me a shimpo wheel and I'm teaching myself to throw..but I love yr drippy mug colours..so now I'm teaching myself how to mix the glazes..with my husband's help...maths was never my strong point and college was something like 59years ago.. thank you and please keep doing yr wonderful utube..its very inspiring 😅

HI Shirley, wow New Zealand you are far from me! Unfortunately my cranberry glaze recipe is from a Canadian supplier called Pottery Supply House and they call it red wine. Probably difficult to obtain where you are. I would think if you have a clear glaze recipe that you like, you could experiment with Mason Stains to try to get something close. When using mason stains, I usually try about 3-5% to start with, depending if I want a deeper color or more pastel. Hope that helps.

Hi Shirley here in the waikato of the North island new Zealand.. as always loving yr kiln unloading.L was hoping you could show how you glaze yr process of dipping yr liner, then doing yr several colours etc,I do see how tr outside, but how do you dip the lining ,thank you..and yes here in New Zealand we are just in autum going into winter,so pretty nice temp right now

Hi Shirley for the liner I just carefully pour liquid into the brim then pour out. If I have a small amount of glaze then just pour a few inches in then swirl the piece as I pour out. I usually give mylined pieces a few hours to dry before applying outside glaze. I’ll definitely add a glaze video to the to do list
