The Guerlain foundation is the foundation I use when I don't want too much glow, and just perfection. For me this is perfect evening, going out makeup and any glow I want to add, I can without looking oily or heavy makeup.

You make me giggle with the Dior lippies 😂

I agree 100% that the original Lancome is better. This new formula is dry, a bit caky, and too matte. I tried it out yesterday. I felt my skin looked dead and dull all day. I am disappointed as the original was one that I never let myself run out of. ☹️

The influencer Sophie Sees Beauty just hated the new Saie foundation. I love a glowy foundation ( which is why I love the new It Cosmetics Nude glow) but the way both of you described how tricky it was to apply is a no go for me. The Guerlain la teint foundation sounds right up my street I'm definitely going to try it. I really like the Laura Mericier lipstick, i have the shade love but I'd like more lighter shades. I've really been liking the Laura Mericier foundation it's been working great on my combo skin. I been loving the Cosmic brushes muse palette and Oden's eye Flora story palette beautiful shadows 😊

I ordered Le Mepris and it is beautiful! I am fair-light with cool undertones and it is a beautiful nude color. Definitely peach and not pink leaning. Formula is lovely!

Those Dior lipsticks are my favorite formula ever as well! I am also seemingly collecting all the shades as I love the formula so much and it is all I wear now!

Le Mepris is my most used of ALL of her lipsticks i wear Le Mepris both n its on with a liner and i can top any of her velvets with Le Mepris if i want to adjust the tone or depth of the color 😆🥰

I tried Fair Light in the It nude glow, and it turned a rather alarming shade of orange on me. Their Bye Bye undereye concealer in Light did exactly the same thing 😬! Love the Suqqu blusher.

I found the It Nude Glow cc cream to run dark as well. Typically I am a light medium/medium neutral skin tone, and in this formula I am a straight-up Light. I do enjoy the formula though, and would definitely repurchase.

I really like apple brandy. I bought it last winter and I just finished it recently.

My thoughts on Terracota foundation. It was super similar to Nars Sheer Glow, but Sheer Glow is better. You guys, don’t forget about that one. It gets 5 stars in my book. Perfection !

Love your videos. You make me lol every time. Completely agree about the finicky nature of the Saie foundation. Yesterday I tried mixing it with the Hourglass foundation and they worked well together. The Saie made the Hourglass more glowy and the Hourglass grounded the Saie formula. I used my (dry) StansOut makeup sponge for application. You might try the Saie mixed with Hourglass or Guerlain.

Charlotte, I’m wondering if you’d like to try the new Anastasia matte lipstick in Warm Taupe and the new liner in Mocha. I *think* we are close in skintone, and I am absolutely loving this combo. Maybe you’d like to give it a try?

I got one of the Rare Beauty lip oils, or lip stains/tints in terms of what they really are lol. I got the shade Happy as I was looking for a pink but the serenity shade you have looked lovely in your review. I want to see how I like this product over a few tries first before buying another shade, but because they are so similar to Romand lip tints I might just get one of those instead, or await a sale of some sort.

I also had a long moment with the it cosmetics cc foundation. It’s so pretty on, but it’s where time is horrible.

For the Saie foundation, I recommend shade 16. I also bought 10 and it didn’t work for me, but 16 looks great. We have similar skin tones.

Like you, I initially passed on Le Mepris, as I thought it would look like nothing on my lips. However, I recently caved and ordered it, and it really is so lovely. I use Fawn lip liner with it, which is perfection 👄, but to further amp it up, I top it with Songbird gloss, which takes the whole look from lovely to absolutely flipping glorious.

Same here, though Le Mepris would be not for me. ( to light and peachy for my fair, cooltoned skin) But I was so wrong. When she restocked it, I was taking the gamble and ordered it. I love it so much I think it will become my new favorite lip to pair with a more dramatic eye-look!

Hi Charlotte, I believe you would like the Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation SPF 20. The finish is like the Saie one but it is not fussy for application and I feel that does not emphasize my texture. Give it a go and compare them :)

Oh my gosh, that Suqqu blush looks stunning! Have you ever compared the formula to Laura Mercier? I've never tried a Suqqu blush but this one may be the one I try.

The suqqu is more melty, more pigmented than LM, also more kind of creamy

Hi Charlotte! Would you consider comparing the Guerlain highlighter to the Charlotte Tilbury face architect?

I love the nudey sheeny neutral blushes. Nars needs to bring back the color Douceur, oh gosh, I may have jacked up the spelling. It was the perfect blush. grr Love the red leather Dior case!

I really want to try Saie but I have some kind of allergy to foundation and/or concealer and the only makeup that doesn’t cause me any problems is Pat McGrath (I don’t usually wear eyeshadow cause of this allergy).

I need to check the Guerlain one. I am on quest to find a foundation I like from them! While the meteorites would have to preyed oit of my dead cold hands, I never found a foundation I liked. I hate the Saie one. It was a hot mess on me an hour after iI put it on. Also my skin was itchy so I am pretty sure some ingredient does not like me! Was not sad about it as I did not like it back😂. I like the new Laura Mercier though!

Do you happen to know if the Guerlain highlighters are limited edition or permanent?

I wear shade 16 in Lisa Eldridge's foundation and I was not able to get Le Mepris to work on me at all. It looked good on the model who is supposed to be the same foundation shade on her site, but on me it was very white and had none of the peachy tone to it that I could see, either in the bullet or on me. Just very pale beige that ended up looking streaky. 😞

Im glad i didnt purchase the new LDBS Special edition. Is the apple brandy sweet? I hear it is quite masculine leaning is that true?

Do you like any of the Dior foundations? What about Pat McGrath Sublime? I’m 57 and very dry skin, peeling at times, sensitive and hyperpigmentation on one side or really it’s just broken capillaries so medium to full coverage. Don’t like to use powder as haven’t found a good one to not settle.

If you like a comfortable, orange red, I just got Arthur Coco Rouge 444 by Chanel... It's beautiful, very soft, long wearing, but feels like a balm... ❤ I think you might like it 😊

Saie is silicone based and Guerlain is water based, so I'm not sure it would work 🤔

Charlotte, I read somewhere that these annual Kilian releases are geared toward the middle eastern audience, hence the strong presence of oud. I’m not sure if it’s true, but I have stayed away from them for that reason.

I found the undertone does run warm. I bought 0N. I can only get away with it at night because it runs warm and also oxidises

Whenever you say "ood" I think of Dr. Who.

I am livid that I can't get my colour in Teint Idole. If the lightest colour was a neutral undertone, I would be sorted. But the lightest 2 are warm and cool. Neither work for me. I DO like the new Guerlain foundation. I can just about get away with the lightest shade (they run very dark, warm and oxidise). The new Terracotta highlighter is BLISS! Perfect for evening on mature skin. The Saie foundation isn't wonderful. The longevity is terrible, and if you leave the bottle to sit for a week you can see a layer of 'oil' has risen to the top of the foundation

I think it's a wood resin . When a perfume has it in I find it very intense , thick, cloying and headache inducing. I keep away from them personally .

I used to live in China. You most definitely can get 13 people on a lift.

Bad news! Suqqu have stopped those blushers apparently. I saw on Lexi Jong's channel that Suqqu can no longer get one of the ingredients to make more of these blushers. This is a DISASTER because the formula is so good
