March 17: St. Patrick

The black arts of pagandom bowed to this one-man fortress
Today’s saint, the Patron of Ireland, was English. He was born in an unknown year to Catholic parents in an educated home in Roman Britain. His father was a deacon and his grandfather a married priest. When he first went to Ireland, he did not go willingly. He was kidnapped by pirates at the age of sixteen and enslaved. He went from the warm embrace of his home to herding pigs, exposed to sleet and cold, starving on the rain-soaked coast of rural Ireland. Times of great danger and deprivation are often times of great grace. In young Patrick’s years of isolation, cold, hunger, and loss, prayer was his only nourishment and comfort. His captivity turned a boy into a man and transformed a tepid Christian into an ardent soul burning with love for the Holy Trinity.
After six years of torturous enslavement, Patrick escaped his captors and made the difficult voyage back to his own nation, family, and language. But the Irish were never far from his mind. One night, he had a dream. Patrick sees a man....

Hello - He drove out the Druids, not the innocent serpent. Blessings

Hello - Thank you. Undoubtedly they were highly spiritual and there must have been a break-away from the main Druidic body to a higher godliness from whose Teachings we may benefit. Blessings from St Patrick we ask. - RevDrD/Ministry@@prayunceasingly2029

@@drdarrylschroeder5691 I learned yesterday that St Patrick used druid teaching methods in some way to teach the faith. Although the video didn't elaborate specifically.

@drdarrylschroeder5691 st Patrick was really an inspiring saint. He experienced so much hardship from the Irish but he didn't let that create a grudge. Instead God's love for the Irish became Patrick's love, for the salvation of souls. The men who came after Patrick are equally as inspiring. I think Ciaran of clonmacnoise was one especially inspiring.

Hello - How enlightening. Of course, He might indeed have done so, as these were men of great learning and in the various Orders (such as the Rosicrucians we now have and others) there would be overlapping principles which were partially taught but not fully revealed for the purpose of conserving secret knowledge for the Inner Circle. We must enrich our early history by further study such as this. Thank you. Blessings - RevDrD/Ministry@@prayunceasingly2029
