Hmmm... It's a little overkill, but if you don't want the Druid levels, you can get pretty much any animal form you want with Shapechange at 17th level of Warlock

@@Dragonfly9078 I was wondering If you could switch out the twilight druid for moon druid since they unlock wild shape options faster and also in case the DM doesn't let allow Unearthed Arcana? I also wanted to ask if you could have gone Bard since she is a singer and took Polymorph for her transformations?

@@xavieravila3037 sure, and moon druid would definitely make your wild shapes more viable in combat. Bear in mind though that while moon druids get higher CR forms faster, they still have to abide by the swimming/flying restrictions as far as I know, so you still aren't becoming a bat until druid level 8. I was actually going to make her a Land druid with the Underdark focus (Underdark standing in for the Nightosphere) and flavoring Land's Stride ignoring difficult terrain as her floating, then I realized winged tiefling dhampir was a thing I could do so I went with that and Twilight druid instead. As for bard, I don't see why not, but keep in mind that polymorph takes up your concentration so you can't stack buffs, and it replaces your mental stats with the beast's mental stats. I leaned away from bard because from what I've seen she doesn't cast spells with her music, so performance expertise was enough, but it certainly does fit thematically so go nuts!

Not meaning to be an asshole, but wouldn't it be better to do a mostly Bard build? I mean, yeah I get that Wild shape allow for one to maintain concentration on spells while transformed, but many shapeshifting spells are already there, and those that aren't can be acquired by Magical secrets, alongside some other spells that allow for necromantic spells. Also, she is a singer, so Bard would make sense overall.

Yep, Bard would certainly work! I don't remember precisely, it was a year or two ago, but I think I was attracted to Wild Shape over something like Polymorph because you still keep your mind while Wild Shaped, in addition to being able to concentrate on spells and use other features like Form of Dread and such. And you're not being an asshole, this is my personal interpretation of the character and there's no harm in having a different one. Now if you were saying like, "how stupid, Marceline's not a druid, she's a bard you idiot" or something like that, it'd be different, but just suggesting something else is fine

In fact, a way of making big transformations would be a dip into rune knight, so a way of turning into big monsters without true polymorph would be to activade Giant mighty, and then either use alter self or polymorph.
