yes, he is a bit sloppy but his melodies and note selection are real good. ultimately the songwriting is what makes a great musician. There are many technicians who cant write shit. Look at Zappa- sloppy guitar player- genius musician, enough said

Something. I'm a guitarist and I suspect that people that are commenting that he is a sloppy player are either A: really good guitarists or B: trolling because they have no talent. Just had to confirm which it was.If it was A I would like to see a video of them playing and if it was B I will just laugh it off and feel sorry for them.

I like his playing more than most shredders,especially his tapping,which he keeps to a minimum.Also,he has melodic structure which is rare in most shredders.But I can't listen to something this long before it starts to wear thin.Something around the 4 minute mark would be just right....unless it's Joe Pass. LOL!

Not my type of music but he is a wonderful guitarist with some awesome licks and great musicianship and yes,I plan on cutting off my hands after hearing him play.

Stumbled upon this checking out "new" releases from different brands of guitars since ive been out of the loop for a few years. Seems a big influenced by Chuck Schuldiner and Paul Masvidal in the rhythm department. Makes me a little happy there. Not too sure on his lead style. Not many lead metal styles catch my ear as i like more soulful lead sounds, of the 70s. Maybe a little bit of Glenn Ljungstrom when listening to his phrasing and rests.

Great video. It takes guts to do this live! His tone is not dialed in and there's no harmony guitar for the leads in this video, but it's still great.

Ademas la claridad de los arpegios y algunas partes no es 100% clara.

On technique and technique alone there a lot better guitarists out there but, imho Marc has an understanding of melody, harmonics and counter melodic composing that comes with years of being training classically. To say he is diverse is an understatement, obviously Max saw these qualities and kidnapped as soon as he could. As far as an artist goes, Marc is the complete package in music form =]

this guy can play great, but he falls into the same trap that many instrumental guitarists do. He has some parts which sound great and melodic, but then throws in mindless shred which kills it for me. Jeff loomis and jason becker r the only 2 who can shred with "feeling" and it doesnt sound mindless and boring to me. also, i have a very tight butthole...........

he´s a great player... do it better and show your skills to us
