    Marc Lamont is such a good, educated man with great knowledge of the issue. He might've lost his position in the so-called TV stations, pretending to advocate for free speech. But he didn't lose his position when it came to telling the truth and giving an image of how truly things are in the region. On a different (funny) note, "Assalam Alaikum, You Ain't Shit" was hilarious 😂😂

Palestine was just a name for a region of land just like Israel is a name for a region of land.. However the Jews have ties to the land based on historical evidence and religious facts.. Plus it is the ONLY Jewish state in the world where the majority of people are Jews there are 20-30 countires that are majority muslim where the "Palestines" could easily feel at home the same cannot be said for Jews..

    I come from a Palestinian family and I just sold some land I inherited from my dad. The reason I was able to do it is because I have the deed to the land given to our family by the Ottoman Empire authorities, about 100 years before Israel was created. I still have land to my name I've inherited from my mother. It'd be a nightmare if Israel, or Israeli settlers, took over it on the pretext this is their "Holy Land" and God gave my land to them. But that's what Israel and Israeli settlers have done to millions of other Palestinians: Start a conflict in the name of God and when you respond to it your land is taken away. I truly don't understand how the US Government has gone along with just about everything Israel has done throughout all these years, dishing out over $85 billion in aid to that country. So, what "river to the sea" means is about all the private property we Palestinians have in that entire area and how we are trying to protect it. Mr. Lamont is absolutely right in what he's saying and how I wish Americans would understand that.

    The US wanted a semi white arm into the Middle East. As did Britain when they made the treaty in 1917. It is a part of white supremacy. The biggest army in the world arms one of the biggest armies in the world. The US goes with Israel to have a military, skin tone, and cultural spear into the ME. The US and it’s old white allies have for centuries or longer hated Blacks and Muslims. It’s been a war and they use Israel to do it. Look how Israel acts. Yes, they defended themselves from war, yes they were attacked, but how did they get there in the first place. Hitler wanted to move them to Madagascar. Hitler was a evil psycho and I do no support him at all but, Madagascar is an island, and Israel is a spot right in the middle. Yeah, it’s a play, it’s a rule, it a strategy. America is willing to watch our brothers in Palestine burn so they can extend their wing of white supremacy. Edit: Also, Israelis, their citizens and government where hating Ethiopian Black Jews. Fellow Jews but not the same hue. So, I am not surprised how Israel is acting. Especially now. Best of luck to you my brother. I hope you and yours are safe.

    Israel is not some defenseless child. There’s a Palestinian woman who works as a speech pathologist at a public school in Texas that was asked to sign a contract stating that she has no issues with Israel and would not boycott any Israeli company or products. Why would they try to force her to sign a contract that has anything to do with Israel here at a public school in America? She refused to sign and was fired over it. As a consumer you have the right to boycott any private company or products you like, no matter the reason. I get trying to protect smaller defenseless countries from terrorists but neither of these situations have anything to do with actual terrorists. Israel is not the defenseless child. It makes Israel look more like the bully.

  • @jaredschmidt8013

    @jaredschmidt8013

    Mister Man The fact you think some random woman nobody knows about getting fired in Texas proves anything is bewildering. “As a consumer you have the right to boycott any private company or products you like” That’s only if you work for ANOTHER private company. Private companies cannot force their employees what to purchase. If you work for a government/public sector job (like a public school) then they CAN force you what to buy if those items are required for that job. And when it comes to teaching kids, the supplies teachers buy are usually mandated by the government. So what happened to that woman in Texas was not illegal. Israel literally has terrorism coming at it from every border. How is Israel not the victim? Had Palestinians stayed in their own land they would’ve never been attacked.

    Jared Schmidt The fact you think a country with a gdp of almost $400 billion with a military budget of almost $20 billion is a fair comparison to a defenseless child being picked on during recess is bewildering. I never said what happen to the lady is proof. I was just giving an example of the power that Israel has over our politicians and companies. Also, you misconstrued what I was saying about the contract and boycott, it had nothing to do with any specific product used for work. The link below will explain in more detail what happened and the laws that have been enacted to protect Israel and their companies/products. Even people applying for repair grants after Hurricane Harvey had to sign a form saying that they would “not boycott Israel during the term of this agreement” or they would be denied. Very strange. Obviously this is only a tiny sliver of the influence that Israel holds over America. Americans should have the right to free speech and the right to protest, criticize, or boycott any country or company without the threat of retaliation or punishment of any kind. Israel owned companies or products should be no different but it is and I find that quite strange. I think the lady and others that are being retaliated against by our own government for even criticizing Israel, a superpower, are the victims. Not Israel. theintercept.com/2018/12/17/israel-texas-anti-bds-law/

    @Cool C Professors with tenure can be strong-armed into resigning though. It happens all the time. "Tell them to go to the UN and advocate for reparations for descendants of slaves" Lmao with all due respect this is idiotic, especially when the state of Palestine has been fighting for recognition at the UN to even be allowed to vote on resolutions, (such as what you suggested). Because of Palestine not being recognized as a state (thanks to America), they are not allowed to vote or even sponsor resolutions. However, that does not mean they have not supported Pro-Black groups or revolutionaries. Marc referenced it in the interview, but there has been a long relationship between the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the Black Panthers. They held many council meetings in the past, collaborated on scholarly research and even trained one another in resistance fighting. Palestinians translated the Panther newspaper and circulated it around Palestine and TBPP did the same. "When I say free Palestine from the river to the sea, I'm saying I want every part of the region to be free".....Ummmm no...you're not. What you're saying, without knowing it apparently, is you want Palestine to replace all of Israel. That is what that phrase means and anyone who knows even a little bit about the conflict knows that. This shows his ignorance plain and simple. Sorry bud. You called for the destruction of a nation. You fired. Bye!

    You've made the matter far more complicated than it needs to be with your divisive argument. People can be dynamic; we’re not monoliths, we can move and think critically about more than one thing at a time. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. On the matter of “he is providing a service and you are making a choice to pay for it”: Touché, she does have a choice and that’s why it matters; she could easily decide to go elsewhere. Visiting his shop simply affirms that support. It’s really simple, bruv.

    Very true about the Israeli police forces training US police. During the Ferguson uprising, Palestinians provided Black Americans advice on how to deal with police forces, knowing that they would use the same exact tactics that Israelis use on them. Their oppression is directly linked to ours and no one if free until we are all free.
