Marc Jacobs is my favorite designer of all time! He and Stephen Sprouse were good friends and colleagues and the new bag is a note Stephen wrote him that says “Grant me the serenity to chill” that he wrote when Marc was stressed

I still love my LV reverse monogram *hotdups* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Tbh, I can see Lv jumping on any sort of major hype this will have. If that Murakami collab comes to fruition with a bang, they will want a slice of the pie and older pieces will start to be revived. For the life of me I don’t know why they haven’t asked MJ to come back for a collaboration in this era. Marc knows how to collab and create artwork. Im praying MJ x MK gets a re release.

There is a Murakami exhibit in Kyoto at the moment and LV is the major sponsor, so the relationship is still strong. The gigantic intro piece is a ‘Flower Parent and Child’ - two giant smiling flowers in gold standing on an enormous lv trunk, floating in a lake. It’s Amazing! If you are going to Japan before Sept 24, pop Kyocera Museum of Art on your to do list to catch the exhibit. The gift shop was EPIC too 😉

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *hotdups* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

Yes he passed in 2004. This is a way of immortalizing a note he wrote to Marc “Grant me the serenity to chill” which is a variation on the Serenity Prayer they say in Alcoholics Anonymous.

LV & Stephen Sprouse collaboration was my favourite. I still have my Speedy from this collection. I'm not sure how MJ can collaborate with Sprouse now as he's no longer alive. 🤔

It’s based on a note that Stephen wrote him when Marc was very stressed. It says “Grant me the serenity to chill” which is based on the Serenity Prayer. “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” If you can’t read the obviously flipped backwards writing, I really don’t think anyone can help you. Maybe try Photoshop? 😂
