I am not really a Marc Jacobs Stan, but I think if anybody would be allowed to think highly of themselves, Marc Jacobs should be the one to do that given all he has accomplished!

I don't know what to think of all that...tasteful isn't a word that springs to mind. Each to his own.

I find this collection utterly fascinating although i'm a bit (just a bit) stunned that there wasn't a little more excitement in the room about Alex Katz in mentioning "Dear Painter, paint me...". I'm ROCKED by this! He has designed some exquisite clothing pieces but his home is bizarre in how unexpected it is, it's like something from a late 1980s interior design book. I agree with the other commenter here who mentioned the art on display throughout. I too find it all most unappealing. I mean, art's art and you like what you like, fine, but....really Mr Jacobs?! I'm genuinely disappointed and mildly confused. It's like a movie set for a Manhattan apartment in a 1980's Woody Allen film, where someone would throw a cocktail party for obnoxious douchebags who work in publishing.
