Great pod as an Oilers fan. Rest assured we're feeling like nothing is certain every game against you guys. Really exciting series!
God. The way Marc describes a flow of a series is exactly what makes hockey playoffs beautiful in any era.
Love listening to him. Great insight!
Tafolli would look great with ep40 right now

They would have had to trade Poolman’s contract first which would be another high pick. It’s just not worth it, they should be able to be competitive for the next few years atleast, didn’t need to put all their chips in this year.
Vancouver fans are not realizing that Silov has saved their series. Guys been a beast. Vancouver has no place being 2-2 with how they played. Good for Silov!
Just imagine if we had year 6 Linden instead of year 6 Pettersson.
They looked exhausted.
Perhaps we should just resolve that at even strength we are going to give up 2 goals to mcjesus and Drysitle. Stop wasting our offensive players tasking them to defend. Roll 4 lines as Dallas does. Trust the players?
I don't think Petey has another gear. We shoulda traded him for some great pics and a right shot D
Love crow congrats on winning with Zurich
Rick Tocchet's secret weapon
Damn, if we cleared the zone in the third period the Canucks would be up 3-1 in the series. It's a game of small mistakes and inches. Maybe with Soucy back our luck will change.

Yep. Cole whiffed twice in the same shift
Call em out by name coach! We know who they are, but mayby THEY need to know who they are.
Pettersson just needs to get out of his own head. That’s his biggest weakness. He needs to look around the room and commit to guys around him. Forget the personal accolades and do the right thing for the team. If that means finishing a check or winning a faceoff then do that.
went to have my corn flakes this morning and they have finally put pettersson's picture on the milk carton.
Hey Crawford. How do you get Swedish soft head meatball focus on nhlnplayoffs and not focus on Swedish meatballs and world hockey championships?

forsberg is the anomaly there
Getting older , I just don't remenber all those cups we won when Crawford was the coach
Canucks will need more than 20 shots on goal lol. Unfortunately Tochett pushed Kuzmenko out of town and looks like Pettersson wants out too! Lol
Canucks can’t match oilers speed they look slow oilers in six
“What are they doing to control McDavid?” Smacking him in the chops with a stick when the game was over- try that. Joshua and Big Z have been head hunting in round 1 and 2. Love the Nucks fans and their passion but can’t stand the team apart from their coach.
Bench petterson
Love Crawford! Love the man, but is he Pathelogically unable to pronounce names?! Lol.
Can’t have 3 guys on the same line with no confidence in their play. EP40 needs to play with someone that’s rolling. No excuses for his lack of effort though.
Wow, the Oil get a few stops and they win, who would have thought??? Van's been outplayed all 4 games.....

Just saw some stats - 5 alarm ( or was it Grade A) shots are 72 to 35 in the Oilers favor. Should be minimum 3 to 1 Oilers if not a sweep if not for spotty goaltending. I'd say 3 to 1 though as IMO game 3 despite being badly outshot Vcr was the better team and their goals weren't soft goals by any means (we still needed a save though). Interested to see how the Canucks respond in game 5 though for sure - but Tocchet better be careful as these guy are trying and I think Pedersson is hurt and has been for awhile. Maybe he has the same type of injury that Kane has?

@@KptKrunch9481The score that matters is 2-2. Nothing else matters. Edmonton has won 2, lost 6 against Van this year. I don't think they fluked 6 wins. Bottom line, whoever wins 2 more games will advance. We'll know the answer in 3 or less games.

@@DavidAllison-qs8wn Vancouver is no fluke. I kept waiting for them to fall off all year... DROP outta first already ya shmucks!! I don't even know who's on their dang team... Yet they won the Pacific and never dropped off. Now I see why. They're dang good and pesky has hell.

@@TheNathanScot Tocchet is a really good coach imo. He is honest when they suck and his players respect him enough to listen. They play as a team most nights, with the occasional stinker. When they stink they know it. Edmonton dominated them for probably 40 minutes but the Canucks kept it lose, 2-0, then they turned it on to tie it up. Uncharacteristically they sagged in the last 90 seconds, game over. Tocchet was pissed because his team didn't play hard and play smart for 60 minutes. They did those things for maybe 10 minutes, which wasn't enough for a playoff game. Edmonton played well, perhaps with the knowledge that their backup goalie might do best with the Oilers on offense as much as possible.
