So very pleased that this episode is on my MOST favourite floral note. And what a T-shirt! There aren't that many Linden Blossom soliflores. I haven't smelled many but the most realistic and natural smelling by far is the now discontinued Jo Malone French Lime Blossom and surprisingly quite long lasting for this brand. I also have Acca Kappa's Tilia Cordata. Now I'll certainly try this new one.

Thank you Persolaise, for this great review. I'm very much on your page about the brand, and also prefer Enscelade and the B683 Extrait. Enscelade made me laugh out loud when I smelled it for the first time and I bought the bottle there and then, which is something I never do! If anything I hope they'll make an eau de cologne flanker instead of another extrait..... Can't wait to try Tilia! Not so much into florals usually, but sometimes we find the exception to confirm the rule.....

It reminds me of scented erasers in my tin pencil case or some scented glue in transparent pink or blue with glitters, my memories growing up in Hong Kong in 80s. Very well-blended, I can’t detect jasmine and other facets, they act more likely to support linden blossoms.

I pre-ordered this and forgot about it until collection day. Meantime while in Cologne (Germany), I looked for a local brand (Olfactive Pharmacy) as my souvenir of the trip and the perfume’s name happened to be Tilia. No wonder the name sounded familiar. When I finally picked up MAB’s Tilia, it’s a unique take on linden blossom and I thought this will be my scent as I recover from surgery. I have smelled the two Tilias separately and now I have to compare them.

I got it as a bevy of samples from Nieman Marcus. I didn’t have high expectations. I tried it and was wisked away into a fragrant garden with gentle florals in summer. It smells like honey, light jasmine, not over powering but lasting long. Doesn’t remind me of a picnic. I had an Encelade sample and it turned me off. I don’t care if some scent is interesting as long as I gravitate towards it and it makes me feel comfortable and good. It’s slightly earthy not powdery. Not overpowering but for me a welcome feminine.

I feel the broom floral is more pronounced here as it's meant to be a honeyed floral, and I definitely get a honey nuance here

Yes, there’s definitely a honey facet.

The only linden blossom fragrance I own is 1A-33 by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin. I need to get my nose on this (I'm too chicken for the brands other releases) Thanks for this Mr P!

Please how is the projection? You said it was soft does that mean it only stays close to the skin and only those in your personal space will smell it?

Its projection is lower compared to Ganymede and Encelade, but then those two would put a hydrogen bomb to shame. It projects extremely well. By no means is it a skin scent.
