Speeders keep finding themselves in dramatic positions this season. Between this and the battle with Cloudy, they're looking hungry this season. I'm rooting for the Hazers, but I hope the Speeders get at least a couple golds this season.

Clutter getting fastest lap (and beating the "optimal" lap from qualifying no less) near the end while (initially) in last is a pure chaos move and I love them for it

The design of it is just perfect for racing. Pretty much every other track has a section where you can look away and know that absolutely nothing is going to change. Here, every section matters. Be it taking the high line at the start, handling the high speed hairpin, even the chicane at the very end can make or break a lap. Every single section matters.

Misty made a good show of it but those two front runners were HUNGRY and it was such a delight! As an O'Rangers stan I didn't have anyone worth rooting for in this race so I was pleased as punch to see those two pull out all the stops. Speedy closing a multi-second gap and executing the last few laps near-perfectly, and Royal picking up the slack and having to execute just as perfectly to clinch it with no foul play on either part... ahh, this is why I come to the races.

Speedy did such a good job to reduce the gap that royal made in the early laps that was Impressive !! I was so sure that speedy would have been able to get the first place when he was toes to toes with royal ! But well played to him he did a great job to get the win in the end

Abysmal start to the season for the Thunderbolts. They're a veteran team too.

Tough year to be a fan

This was by far the best race ever! Speedy's launches off the belt! Royal's over under move on the banking! The two of the going back and forth on the final few laps!!! As a fan of both teams, I was genuinely screaming at the end. Props to Jelle and the team! This is most likely the best track that has ever been designed. Keep up the amazing work guys and thank you so much for all the entertainment you bring.

Seriously! I first thought they had to have sped up the playback when panning over the last few turns, but no - it's just that fast!

Gosh this race was insane. (spoiler filled race breakdown below) Royal vs Speedy was the stand out battle of course. Royal showed just how important an early lead was. Exploding out of the gate and just held first as time went on. Even with that though, Speedy just isn't a marble that you can outpace for long. So far the Savage Speeders have been AGGRESSIVE this season. They used to be a bit more clean with the races, but now they're not shying away from contact. Royal almost got overwhelmed, but never gave up. That last pass was so good Speedy didn't even try to challenge it. It's almost like they slowed down out of respect on the last stretch. Great racing. That wasn't the only thing of note though. Misty, Fearo, and Pinky Panther had a well fought battle. Misty's racing is just too hard to pass for the other two marbles. Although, what was pretty crazy was Fenrir somehow fighting their way into fourth for a brief moment. They couldn't hold that position, but they had an insane offense. If Fenrir learns how to defend that marble is going to cause some upsets. Razzy, Thunder, and Clutter all showcased that they haven't lost their touch. All 3 of them pushed down the fastest lap time while in the back of the pack. It's a shame that Clutter and Thunder are both performing poorly right now. If either of these two got a better pole position I bet they would cause a storm at the top even if they struggle against a good defense. Seriously, Stinger's racing was likely why Thunder, Clutter, and Blue Eye couldn't make a move. Clementin had an abysmal run though. What's going on with that marble? I'm usually pretty positive about everyone's performance (as a Thunderbolts fan it's how I cope), but I can't even say anything good about Clementin. Their career this season has been a little depressing so far. Hope they can turn it around.

And Team Momo gains a decent starting position only to fall back into the middle of the pack yet again. This feels like a constant theme for this team. At least the battle between Royal and Speedy made the race still thrilling to watch.

Momo in his first outing was way better than Mimo. So maybe we will improve again, when Momo is back on track. I hope so, this race was frustrating. They had so many problems with the conveyor belt...

The tension! The thrills! Sakura Garden is quickly becoming one of my favorite courses here in M1. Thank you Jelle & co.! I've no doubt a mountain of effort was taken to making sure this course was a lean, pink, crowd pleasing machine!

This is probably the most intense battle for 1st place to date! Great job to the Kobolts and Savage Speeders. Misty also had an outstanding run today! Hazers have always had good speed on straight courses. The problem is they often go too fast and run into marbles ahead, losing speed and places!

I feel Misty needs to be more like Cloudy, and in some ways, like Smoggy - maintain good speed, but learn the technical points of the track. We can't always just floor it 😬

At this rate the Orangers should consider just letting Orangin race the rest of the grand prixs.... Clem just doesn't race like he used to. Orangin is still young and quick, and she's definitely the Orangers' strongest racer. Hopefully she can make up for Clem's disappointing showing....

Great race! Let's go, Hazers! I love seeing these battles for the lead for the championship play out in the races. Kobalts vs. Speeders seems to be the match-up for now, with Hazers and Plasma in the distance

Let's go, Aryp! From 14th to 7th--a hard fought race with true colors shown. There's room to grow but clear dedication to be seen regardless. Every point counts. And shout-out to Royal for that amazing display of skill--not just stealing the lead so efficiently in mere seconds, but also getting it back from Speedy at the end! Plenty to be proud of. Sadly, I wish I could say the same for Quasar and Team Galactic.

Red Eye and Orangin are shaking their heads right now. For such classic winners, they are being massively let down

That wide bank was enough of a wildcard for all marbles. Great race!!! Sorry Clementin kept choosing the wrong line.

Sakura Garden race is an amazing track, really love it and look forward to seeing it again. Blue Eye better get their nerves brushed off by next race or CCE is gonna be in serious trouble to keep their #EyesOnThePrize.

In all fairness, CCE has traditionally never performed very well on technical tracks like Sakura Garden. The only saving grace was the long stretches before and after the large, banked curve (that YE loves as seen during the Minty Mania race back in S2). BE may have still qualified and finished abysmally for what we CCE fans are used to, but they showed marked improvement in not finishing last this race and gaining a whole 3 spots. BE has the potential to be another great, so as fans let us just keep our #EyesOnThePrize

Another podium for Misty. Let's goooo Hazersss. If we keep our performance consistent like this, we'll catch up Kobalts soon. Royal is in some real good form but Kobalts might lose some points when Cerulean races. We just have to be consistent and wait for them to slip. #AmazeHaze #HazeAmaze

@@MythsolverMercy Honestly, as a long time fan of M1, Pinkies are doing really well this season. I can't say I see them striking spots 1 or 2 on podium with how the Kobalts and Speeders are doing, but they're within striking distance of the Hazers, who sit 3rd

First off, arguably the best duel for the lead we've ever seen in any Marbula 1 race, just amazing stuff. Secondly, Team Galactic needs to reconsider the decision of having Quasar in Marbula 1, he wasn't that good last year, and he's picking up right were he left off. Had a good qualifying run this week, but dropped back right from the start and never made up much ground, he's a liability IMHO.

I'm an Oceanics fan, but... you know, so I picked the Kobalts for this series and it's paying dividends.

Interesting track evolution as the racing line marbled in.

That was a white-knuckle ride. Thanks to all involved.

The fact that Orangin is in the top 10 despite only racing once while Clementin is in the bottom ten after two races should speak volumes about who is carrying the weight on that team

Spoilers: Blue eye and clementine have caused me great sorrow today.

Talk about Intense, No Nonsense, Unforgiving 15 laps of overtaking racing, especially the battle for 1st and 2nd Podium. Underdog Team versus Superior Team. Kudos JMR Team for Capturing these moment.

it did create a lot of overtakes in the following straight as some marbles managed to keep more speed than others in the turn. pinky panther did it quite well, speedy lost a lot there.

HELL YEAH LETS GO ROYAL. Also it’s pretty interesting that the marble who started in 8th in both the qualifiers and the race was the one who finished first

Happy hazer right here great comeback from misty after a bad race last week. Awesome for the team to believe in misty and getting the result. Great podium today

This circuit is extremely well designed, all the corners lend themselves for quality racing, and only the two hairpins seem to be a bit clunky to navigate. Hope to see their M1 contract extended for the future seasons

Royal must have really wanted it! Can’t even be mad. But the Speeders aren’t gonna give up that easy. I have high hopes for this season! #SpeedIsKey

The back and forth for P1 makes this definitely a contender for race of the year

Watching Marbula One again after years away, I still support both blue teams. 🔵 I'm as impressed with the performance of the Royals as disappointed with the heartbreaking performance of the Thunderbolts... 🤔 Awesome track by the way and still pleasant to hear Greg Woods 👌

first time watcher of marbula 1, and i've gotta say that this is some of the best marble racing i've ever seen, and to be honest i really regret missing out on this and not starting with watching this sooner. that said, i do look forward to the next race, as i'm curious as to whether the kobalts or the savage speeders can win me over.

Im happy with two two place finishes for the savage speeders also congrats all the other teams

#FoundRoldo He's hiding in the tree at 2:08. Its the tree to the far left side of the screen at the end of the garden. He can be seen better at the very bottom of the screen at 4:22. NOTE: Roldo is hiding on the same tree branch throughout the entire race, so he appears in the same spot multiple times, which is why the difficulty level of finding him is "Easy."

We were almost there at the end but the last launch off the belt made us lost some precious distance from the leaders. Great race though! Congrats to Royal and the Kobalts for the second consecutive win. Go Hazers! #HazeAmaze

And now it looks like Orangin will have to race Red Eye so i wonder how that's going to go. I think Clementin is done after this season. We need Kinnowin or Tangerin in. Clem should retire and become a coach. They have an impressive career but time to let the others shine especially after this performance!!! Dead last in 2 races. We need a podium finish desperately now and it's not gonna happen with Clem!!

Even if I wasn't a massive Kobalts fan, Sakura Garden is a keeper. What an excellent track! So many great passing opportunities, chances for marbles to showcase both their speed and technical abilities, and a wonderful atmosphere to boot. Please bring this back for S5! Oh, and LET'S GO ROYAL!! Back to back wins is phenomenal. Kobalts looking like early contenders, which is a fun thing to say after years of middling performances (or outright failure to qualify)!

Once again another MID performance from Razzberry racers. Every race is a snoozefest rooting for this team

i think speed is the sacrifice we make for always doing well in the marble league

good job, misty. the top two were the class of this race, but you hung in there nicely. there is hope for the hazers. love it.

It almost felt like Affirmed and Alydar’s Belmont at the end

Only thing that could have made this better was Red Eye up there dueling with Speedy and Royal but I get why that needed to be avoided for now

Clementin is showing really solid consistancy here. I think he''s going to challenge very hard for last place

Man, Royal with another awesome performance. Once again, a great job negotiating the crowd on the opening turns to shoot out front, and then the battle to get back in front at the end!
