Hear me out here: What about a bouncy multiply or release? Where instead of the marbles rolling directly across the ground, they bounce along it instead, so they won't necessarily touch the nearest enemy tiles first?

The bouncer board shrinking the more marbles its corner built up is honestly a really good way to balance things. 3:17 Yooo Lime builds up the biggest proliferation yet! Awww yeah wiping across almost the whole board, even triggering a couple mines before endgame! 4:40 Oh ouch Red. Still not as much tho. ;) 5:23 Ok geez finally been matched by Yellow. 5:35 BLUE NO- 5:43 Ooo but Lime T-bones the invasion! 7:02 Blue sends another big wave of 1k just cus they can. 7:07 And again get side-swiped, bad luck Blue. 8:48 I KNEW IT! OMG this battle so intense!!! i love the disk touch the black timer to speed up the profileration! what not bring this style to 2D too!!

When I think about it, watching videos like this is like watching snail races or watching which drop of water on glass will get to the bottom edge first. But it's so damn satisfying.

How the heck does Miken come up with this? The Multiple and Release have the simple variable of “will it release now or later?” But Miken added several chances with the Hockey Mikens, the speed up proliferation, time until next proliferate, and how the goalies get shorter as they have more marbles saving up! (Also the added mines to keep the game going) it’s just adds variables on variables making it hard if they’re gonna win or have a total anime comeback!!!

Lime did a crazy release at the end with 8192 Lime balls to release!

The black spots on each other’s territory are mines, as soon as the enemy marble touches it, it explodes,killing all enemies in its radius and recover its territory.

Right as the video was ending and right after the nuclear winter green has made, I noticed a bit of red land that survived the whole time, even after the literal board wipe green did.

The sheer force of 8192 balls exploding out of the goal flings them across the field directly into the enemy goal. I don't think it's possible to prevent that, as is.

I like more Castle destruction in 3d.

The 3D aspect seems to have backfired here where at the moment of release the balls are flung across the board due to the models having been compressed and now being able to move freely… You should probably go with the “turret” solution from the 2D versions for this sort of thing in the future, because this was honestly disappointing as a conclusion and I would much rather have seen yellow get a possible resistance due to its build up, or the defensive mines actually working instead of the bases already being taken before they even go off…
