Nice stag my friend looked way bigger before u took him nevertheless they all deserve respect no matter what country he was taking from seeing his body caped with mud and way he was behaving was good indication he was in rutting stage therefore was leaving his scent on branches rather than eating them thanks for sharing we never stop learning 😉

Well done mark and crew awesome hunt! Your stag was preaching when he got up on his hind legs! Just like a buck scrape how ever they rub there glands everywhere then make a scrape at base of tree mate. Bit of worthless information there. But I was lucky to get the same shot on my Sambar here in nz with good mates! All the best!
