Marantz did this in an Opium colour, which looked amazing, but one cannot find it anywhere! I know it was limited, but why stop making it? That was the best colour.

I have the Model 1060 and its 2 channels keep up with my Emotiva XPA-7 Gen2 Toroidal. But more importantly, where do I get that Marantz shirt at?!?!

Could you help me with a confusion I have. I read in the manual that the MC input impedance of the phone stage of the Marantz Model 30 is less than 50 ohms (Low), greater than 50 ohms (Mid) and 100 ohms (High). However, I also noted that in the youtube presentations of Sound United that the numbers are 33 ohms 100 ohms and 390 ohms respectively. My MC cartridge is Rega Aria which has an impedance of 100 ohms. What should I set the MC to, mid? or high? Also, if I have both the model 30 and 30n do I use the fixed our variable output of the 30n? What would you recommend? Thanks. Great products. Great brand!

So what did you do?

HUGE mistake taking away the blue lights... Should have at the very least made it switchable from white to blue.

I bought a new sacd 30n 3 months ago to replace my old mcintosh sacd 301. This is the first time I buy marantz. It is a good product, but i'm not really satisfied. The CD quality is good, not as my old mcintosh, but I'm "getting used" to it. If you switch from internet radio to CD and back to internet radio or bluetooth or other sources a couple of time during your listening it may happen (frequently...) that you get background noise/rustling and you have to restart it to eliminate that noise....I'm not interested in HEOS, but Quboz/Tidal are not embedded...how is this possible for such a recent product? I would have expected a bit more quality from a product that wants to position itself in the high-end and has a purchase price in this range...remote is not even retro illuminated... nothing against marantz, but this product does not meet my expectations... my mistake...

i am getting used to it it sound too good my ears are adapting, recommend 5 stars

Is the sound of Denon DCD 110 vs SACD 30n would be different in Transport mode? And In analog mode is one going to be more warm sounding than the other? or are these both fairly neutral players. Please help :) ? I am clicks away from buying any one of these - Cheers

@@ptg01 I do not think I am gonna buy Denon DCD or SACD 30N, just got me good Old Oppo true SACD player .. not 2 channel downgraded..

@@uprajsingh Not really.. just thinking about getting an SACD30n BUT super worried about the total lack of response to an inquiry from what is an advertisement.. A bad sign... especially coming from Marantz's USA owners.. seems they don't care about their customers as I have seen other questions that went unanswered too.

Honestly the SACD 30n is like a nd8006 with lipstick on it but for more than 2x of the price. Even the PC board looks almost the same! Low end feature set like outdated two line display, no XLR outputs, poor Bluetooth SBC and a limited Heos streaming module is really a joke for a 3k€ device! No, it‘s more the VW rather than the Bentley!

The 30n SACD handles the network streaming, not the amp.
