Maragondon, Cavite by Baby Bus. Exploring the Heritage Attractions & Celebrating the Town's Fiesta

It's fiesta time in Maragondon. Every 15th of August, the town celebrates the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption.
Maragondon is one of Cavite's oldest towns, having established in 1611 by the Franciscans as a visita of Silang.
In order to celebrate the town's fiesta and explore its heritage and historical attractions, we went there using Cavite's iconic baby buses.
Our first stop was the favorite restaurant of the locals, Don Claro's, which serves possibly the juiciest, tenderest, Fried Chicken in the south. After lunch, we visited the local souvenir shop which displays locally-woven Habing Maragondon cloth.
Our next stop was the Bonifacio Trial House, where Andres Bonifacio underwent trial before he was executed on the foot of Mt. Buntis in Maragondon. We also got to see several well-preserved ancestral houses in Poblacion.
No fiesta is complete without the marching bands, and in Maragondon, we got to see over a dozen of them playing on the streets of Maragondon.
We visited next the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which was consecrated in 1581, and completed in 1714. While admiring the church interior, we were advised by a sacritan to proceed to the Convento, where to our surprise we were invited to a free lunch because it's fiesta.
Our last stop was the Hanging Bridge of Caingin, before we proceeded to the covered court where we were able to catch the drill performances of the marching bands.
