Including chapters in the walkthroughs would be great. I think you had previous videos with chapters in them and that was extremely helpful when watching the guides.

Yes! I'm not sure what fixed it exactly, but I did my usual when an achievement is glitched for me of resetting my modem, restarting my xbox, uninstalling and reinstalling the game and then it unlocked for me@@dalebaker5030

Welsh my man im on a 3 week holiday shutdown from work n going be achievement hunting using alot if your guides Tbh this one was a pain but manageable off to your other vids!

Great guide and commentry. This game was a nice change of pace, enjoyed it. Tho I did cut a few of the timed sections pretty close. For some reason the first level gave me the most trouble lol. Had to replay 4 or 5 times, just wasnt unlocking even tho I was right there time wise, go figure. Thankfully a pretty short one tho lol. Altho luckily I managed to get all the others in one go except for the spiral. Making that Z staircase was giving me grief the first go and just wouldn't climb. All in all a very straightforward and relatively simple completion imo. Thanks as always for another solid wt Welsh.

thank you for the guide! this game hit so hard.. i just recently got out of a relationship and yea it sucks that it had to end but things come and go and good things come to an end eventually... though it was fun and i loved her.. she moved on and it took me awhile to move on.. even right now as im typing this, still miss her and at times think about her, but im slowly healing and moving on.. thank you for showing me this game !TheWelshHunter

Fun fact: You can complete The Wedge in less than a minute by jumping into the church at the start, ringing the bell, and then jumping out of the church. It’s not that difficult to get the jump down, but it might take you a few tries. I would still recommend playing through the level for the great story, but if you are struggling with the speed run aspect, it’s a much quicker solution.

Such a wonderful game but the speed run stuff destroyed it for me. I need a break before I destroy my controller. Level 6 is stupid. First this tiny little bridge you have to put 100 % precise in the air and then that C-Shap thing. I cannot do it. It can't be done. Either it's not possible to climb the first one or when the first one is okay, the second one never works for me. I will maybe came back later but I need to play something else in between because this is enraging.

I would highly recommend everyone to not go straight for the speed run. The game is pretty great to follow the story for, so just play through each level by following the story and watching the cut scenes, and then go for the speed run of each level. Plus, once you beat a level, it makes it easier for you to know what you need to do.

theres another solution to the breakout achievement, in the corners of the smaller model there's actually a lever you can interact with that'll make the floor lower down and you can go through that hole in current one you're in and you'll get the breakout achievement

The big pink crystal is never there at 17 minute mark. Wish i knew what you were doing different.

I found another comment that someone said you might need to go a little farther pass that cog and down the stairs to make it spawn and it worked for me.

For the crew creature achievement you don’t have to go back to grab the green crystal as there is a hole you can go through without it

To anyone stumbling on this guide, I would strongly suggest doing the speedrun for each chapter after you have followed the story. It's actually quite good and you'll miss out on quite a bit of it if you do. Just my two cents.

Including cut scenes in the time score is pretty lazy and/or stupid of them. Didn't realise that the black screen at the end of the Maquette is actually the start of a cut scene, only realised after it was too late. I think I will stop trying to play catch up on the speed runs and just do them after each level so that I know what I am doing.

Can you do more gamepass games?

Im missing something in the gateways. I follow your guide exactly, but when i jump on the rock and jump outside of the wall, theres no red crystal for me to use the red gem with. Im stuck being tiny and have to restart.

You have to walk towards the dome to unveil a wall before jumping over to the rocks.

If you pause the game, will the time keep running? Every time I would have to pause the game to see how you do it, I feel I do complete the level within a certain time for the achievement to pop up but I never get the achievement for completing the level within a certain time. It could be bugged but I guess I can always go back to the chapters and redo the level, hopefully.

I had the same feeling. Even without pausing the speedrun for levels 2 & 3 are really difficult. Took me 10-15 attempts to get them. In the video Welsh days a few times he completes the level with 30-40s to spare but if I timea perfect run, I have 30s over the achievement time. I'm playing on a OneS and I have the impression the walking is faster when I play it on Cloud Gaming. Maybe it's easier on series S/X?

They are tight, my friend. You need to mostly memorise the levels and pray that you don't do a bad jump or smth similar. Am at 50% of the game and already had to do a few reruns.

This is going to be a nightmare. It's taken me about 10 attempts just for the 2nd level speedrun.. I was going for a 1hr completion & I've spent 3hrs on the first 2😂

I've timed myself and an almost perfect run without the mistakes that Welsh makes in the video & I'm at 4:50-4:55... I don't see how I could save more than 15s.

@@FretboardWariorI had great difficulty with it but to be honest your time is very slow. Are you skipping the cut scenes? You need to also travel shortest routes and place items quickly. For example after placing and crossing the bridge, as soon as you toggle the lift level hold b as the lift going up is a cut scene. That saves you 5 to 10 seconds.

First Speed runs and now in the last level you have to do a speed run in a speed run? When the suffering will stop? F'ng finally I did it. It was a nice game but all the speed runny stuff is not good. I don't like that what so ever. But indeed your guide was helpful, so there is that :)

Had to redo almost every level because of the lack of editing and clarity. Normally I love your videos man but when you're doing a speedrun like this it doesn't help with you overshooting turns, being unclear with your audible explanations etc. This was a short enough game I would've hoped for a little better because I know you can

Ahhhh another indie game ruined by annoying speedrun achievements. When I saw the length of the video I hoped for an easy relaxing quick completion but this game turns out to be made just to rise peoples blood pressure. I’m skipping this garbage. I miss the good old dsys where you could complete Game Pass indies in around 30 minutes while having a good time. This and the Mountain King game are just a waste of precious time! When I play AAA games I want s challenge, when I play indie games I want a relaxing breeze!

You and I cannot be any more different, I guess. I love this game. Great performances by Seth Gabel and Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as great writing. The gameplay is one thing, but I love a good love story.

if haven't done it yet, you might have to go passed the keg down the stairs a lil and then go back up, for it to spawn the walls and the crystal, that would otherwise lock you out/in the middle section of the map.

Had the same issue. Load last auto save. Before you make the jump, Go further past the cog and down the stairs and you will see the spawn. Now go back and make the jump.
