Maquet Servo U Demonstration

Ғылым және технология

James "Jimmy" Tucker, RT walks you through a practical overview of the Maquet Servo-U ventilator with a focus on the information (settings and feedback data) the clinician requires at the bedside. This video is not intended to show how to set up the ventilator or make vent changes. Our motivation for creating this talk is a combination of a relatively new ventilator to our hospital system (MedStar Health) and the Covid-19 novel coronavirus epidemic which has brought clinicians to our ICU who have minimal experience with mechanical ventilation (or prior experience with other manufacturer's ventilators).

Hey guys. Great demo! More like an inservice!!! I'm about to head on a contract assignment for crisis needs, and they have this type of vent that I have not used in a while, so thank you! Keep the good work!

I always love maquet technology. I handle the HL in kenya. The instrument have very little downtime/breakdown

What does it mean if the patient is receiving oxygen at a pressure rate of 55% ? And what is the oxygen pressure rate of oxygen that the patient is able to come off the ventilator if all the the factors look like they are heading in the right direction?

Yes, a respiratory therapist. Not a NURSE. RTs are getting little to no recognition during this covid crap.
