Fun fact, Theia is the name of the planet theorized to have hit Earth billions of years ago which led to the formation of the moon. Seems like in this universe Theia (or Antiterra) and Earth settled into a stable binary system instead of colliding. So the Earth in the Antiterra universe would actually be smaller than our Earth since it's lacking the mass from Theia.

A sci-fi timeline I want to see is a co orbit planet. Like what if Venus had the same orbit as earth but was on the other side of the sun.

For the antiterra thing, wouldn't the insane gravity make the oceans go absolutely insane, like not interstellar insane, but not very fun to manage I imagine...

The moon is only a little smaller than Theia was, so I think it may have been fine. If Theia and the Earth did not collide, then the Earth would have a weaker magnetic field and possibly no atmosphere or at least a weaker atmosphere. I am not sure if it would be physically possible for a binary planet system to exist where the planets did not collide because otherwise, they would not have a stable orbit with each other.

When you hit the 'I know history so many, let me show it' so hard. It's unfortunately sad that the map is dated a few decades before Philip married himself into the throne of England. And way before the Spanish Armada The actual What If is if Charles V didn't marry Isabella of Portugal, but if his childhood engagement with Mary Tudor would go trough and assuming both Henry VIII and Margaret Tudor died just like Arthur, Prince of Wales before.

I've noticed as well that AZ keeps getting lumped into the Blue half of the US lately on these maps. As someone that's lived here for some time now, I think the state would be heavily contested. We do seem to be continuously colonized by Californians unfortunately and have been pushed to the left more and more but there is a very strong "red" population here and a very active 2nd amendment crowd. I certainly wouldn't call AZ a sure thing for a team blue in these scenarios.

Fun fact: the name Théia is actually the same name of a planet that actually existed, and was actually exactly how it was said in 7:33, Theia was the planet that had the same orbit as earth, after a while that planet have "Broken" away from the orbit and have collisioned with the Earth, so i'm pretty sure in that universe the planets wouldn't have collisioned and would just continue orbiting the sun and also, when the collision happened 2 changed for earth, 1 it got a little bit of mass, being quite bigger and 2 they got a lil nice friend, that we all know as "Moon"

The only problem with the D-Day one is the Yalta conference basically guarantying the liberation of Western Europe, but I do like that scenario. That would make for a really interesting cold war,USA and UK vs all of Europe basically

If you look at the major population centers in that part of France, I don't think it would have had as much as an effect as you predicted. The people would have settled the larger Cities more, and you might have had a greater concentration of power. I think France would have dominated the area with such high population cities. Bordeaux would probably have thrived situated that close to the Ocean.

Earth-Moon system actually is the best candidate for a binary planet in the solar system: The Earth to Moon mass ratio is 1/81 which is waaaay higher than any other planet-to-moon mass ratio (excluding dwarf planets). All others are way below 1/4000. The Moon is also big enough to significantly shift the center of mass of the system from the center of the Earth (both Earth and Moon orbit around a point 4670 km away from Earth's center).
