Mapping Christian Schism
Christianity may be the world’s largest religion, but it’s anything but unified. How did we get from a tiny Jewish reform movement in the hinterland of the Roman Empire to the present diversity of thousands of denominations and sects? The presentation will attempt to map out connections and divisions using original diagrams.

These are the best lectures I've seen on this subject. I love the way this guy continually invites questions and answers them in a very direct honest way

I agree. Very high quality and presented in such an open and likeable way. Deserves wider recognition in my opinion
Algorithm got me to this on auto pilot. Strong lecture. In my opinion it's one of the best Understatement but it a hidden gem here
A very good lecture - accurate, very well organised and very well presented.

This is a great lecture.
You look and energy remind me of the Jesus who lives in my heart.
As someone brought up Catholic, it's really interesting to hear about all the various branches that have spread from it. Had always wondered what the differences were between them.

Remember that you are the western branch of the schism as a result of not being the original . It's just that protestantism jumped the shark . Constantinople was the center so the west branch kept idolirty but then the east became Islam lol

I'm catholic too. Watch some more of his videos. Apparently there was an explosion of various forms of Christianity back in the day. And the Catholic church was just a thread that won out.
This should be rereleased with the audio fixed.
What’s up with the spider web? The color scheme looks like there must have a meaning.
I define religion as cultural indoctrination around a common narrative.
