The Pearson Institute's April Lunch and Learn featured Clionadh Raleigh, Executive Director of Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project. In the video above she discusses ACLED's mission and approach to disaggregated data collection, analysis, and crisis mapping.
About the Speaker
Clionadh Raleigh is the Executive Director of ACLED. She is also Senior Professor of Political Violence and Geography in the School of Global Studies at the University of Sussex. Her primary research interests are the dynamics of conflict and violence, African political environments, and elite networks. She is presently staying in Ethiopia to establish an Ethiopian conflict observator.
