A 4K POV video of a Sunday B-Road drive in a mapped Honda Civic Type R EP3 with mics set up outside the cabin. A full Spoon Sports N1 Exhaust system and a Tegiwa M induction kit provide the sounds.

The Honda Civic EP3 Type R is a great car in stock form. However, with some modifications, the car comes alive! Both the handling and the K20 engine can benefit from some upgrades and with this car here, that is the case. The current set up on the car is Tegiwa M induction kit into a Skunk2 Ultra Street inlet manifold, standard K20 engine, a Full Spoon Sports N1 exhaust System and an ECU Remap with a Hondavert ECU. The car is currently running 220bhp in this configuration. The suspension set up is YellowSpeed coilovers, rear camber arms and polybushed front LCA’s and a Progress rear anti roll bar with a fast road geo set up from Motion Motorsport and the gearbox has a Quaife LSD inside it.

I do have to agree with you! It has to go though really! It’s soooo loud when driving around at low speeds. Plus the extra power would be nice.
That road is epic! Been down it many times in cars and bikes.

@@OllyRoss sweet! Also what rpm is most efficient for pulling off from stationary? Having had the car ages I’m sure you’ve near enough found the perfect rpm for this

Yeah boy chasing after bikes. Glad I’m not the only one. Had some fun with a bike at start of summer on m20 to about 130 for few miles.guys rear tyre was making my bum twitch tho💩💩

@@craiggibson3523 I basically built the car for roads like that so I make the most of them when I am on them! Haha! It could be just the placement of the Mic's for this video. Drone is pretty bad around 55mph. Not that bad on motorways but low speeds is just too loud! Haha

@@OllyRoss yeah the drone is abit much sometimes for me now on long drives etc. had same system 8 years and feel a change coming on. They just all sound the same to me and can’t be arsed with mapping again, would like to do track days in the future

Oh sweet! I am glad you noticed. It’s actually a mix of 3 mics. I put one near the intake in the engine bay, one in the boot for the low end of the exhaust note and then used a GoPro on the back of the car for the exterior exhaust tone

It’s not too bad on the motorway. It’s worse around 55mph and pretty raspy when cold at low rpms.

It’s alright not the best I’ve seen need to be a bit more aggressive then that if I was behind you in my ep3 would over taken you way back and sound is weird it’s probably the camera. But all an all 👍
