Nice setup👍 I’m a hobbyist..150 taps…I built an RO system 2 seasons..it’s a game changer. 1 pass cuts your water volume in half….means half the boiling time…half the firewood. Well worth looking into

You learn something from everyone! Pulled my pan off when the syrup was done, like I saw you do, and it worked great. would of never thought of it if I had not seen you do it. THANKS

Great job on the boiling. I've been doing my boiling outside. I will move into my barn, at least for this year. I like the turkey baster. I might do that this year. Thanks for the idea! - Rick

Nice and patient finishing! Saw that pan slide a little when you were covering the fire, thought it was hitting the ground

Great set up, I love the idea of the ball cock valves I never would have thought of that. Also like the Shack

I am a resident of Quebec. I grew up with the small shacks that never produced syrup in the quantities that you do. They were traditional and crude but we successfully made three different grades of product. My question has nothing to do with the industry. May I ask what music you used at the beginning of this video after Sugar Shack? Your video is high quality and your description was amazing.

Approximately what size is your sugar shack? If you said it in this video, I missed it. I like your idea of recycled pallets.

Great setup! I’m upgrading from a Turkey fryer to a barrel stove this year. I’m planning on burning softwood pallets (70% ) mixed with seasoned hardwood . Do you think that it’s feasible? I produce about 5 gallons with 5 big estate lot sugar maples.

Would work great pellets would make a quick hot fire and the hard word would burn longer also hot but not as hot as the pellets. Keep some pellets for when you get close to the end that way you won’t have to put big pieces in the fire box to finish it off or near finish. Don’t for get our contest check out our previous clogs for details. You could win a bottle of our syrup my friend.
