The 2 things I loved most about that were: -watching people that grew up in Toronto complain about the names -watching someone that is too young to have ever used dialup or internet have his clips edited with dialup noises

@@shawnpitman876 I mean, I was less accurate than I thought I was when I wrote it, in part because Mitch is perpetually older than I think he is and because dial up lasted longer than I thought it did. Regardless, Mitch was born in 1997, so he by no means grew up in the 90s, and as someone that was born pretty close to Mitch and have friends both older and younger that never used dialup, I'd still say there is a good likelihood Marner didn't use dialup considering only about a third of households used dialup over broadband in 2000 when Mitch would've been 3. Is this a pointlessly long response to a minor comment? Yes, but you hurt my feelings because I put way to much of my emotional wellbeing into what people think of me and writing this made me feel better.

@@PpP-dr1od No one even knew you were talking about Mitch. Because you named NO ONE the default assumption would be that you're referring to the host of the video, Steve "Dangle" Glynn. Who most certainly did grow up in the 90s.

@@shawnpitman876 I understand where you are coming from, but all of the clips where dialup noises were used were solo shots poking fun at Mitch. Since Mitch is both the person being made fun of and the only person in most of the shots w dialup noises, I thought it was clear I was talking about Mitch. Funny enough, half the reason I wrote the comment is because I'm a fan of SDPN and Dangle complains about feeling old all the time.

Also the locals don't necessary retain a mastery of the word in a language they don't speak. The US has a city the locals call "La-feet", with the spelling Lafayette. Obviously French, named after the Marquis de Lafayette who was an American Revolutionary War hero. But it's now butchered.

simmer and muzz are in this vid, but aren't on the roster, I thought muzz would just enjoy a break now that he's on LTIR for the rest of the season.

Canadians...Americans...and British...butcher virtually everything in a foreign language. I cringe virtually every single time I hear a hockey announcer pronounce an italian name. They have no clue....so they anglicize everything....and the media doesn't really care that they do that.
