I just got a new set for my studio. It is the Mapex Armory Series drum set. The color is Caribbean Burst. I will be using this set to teach lessons both in-studio and remote and do online tutorials. This is only a shell pack so it does not come with any hardware minus the mounting brackets for the first and second toms. It really is a beautiful looking drum set in person. I noticed that in most videos or photos it does not bring out the true color of the brown fading into the black. If you are worried about how the Caribbean burst will look, don't be! It will look great!
One thing I was impressed by is how well these drums sound for the money. Mapex has done an awesome job of letting the drums resonate as much as possible. They really do pack a punch. You can almost feel the shockwaves from each hit pulsing through your entire body.
This set is only a shell pack, so you will need to buy cymbals and hardware if you do not already have it. Enjoy!
