Sounds clean as heck! I've been looking at the chassis mount wing on your website for the 1st gen R8. Might go that direction for the R8

Race version sounds so good, but would def drone crazy on the street with no resonators hence race haha

It wont be bad as long as u have either mufflers or a resonator. If both r deleted then yes it will be annoying.

@@1anre they dont really limit much at all. The downpipe is the only restrictive one on these cars

I’ve got a 10th gen (so they sound virtually identical) with a race exhaust and a down pipe and it’s not too terrible. I’ve had none car guy passengers say they think it could get annoying after awhile. But I still love it
Defo one of my dream upgrades for my 11th gen si haha im planning on fbo-ing the thing and i cant wait to do it

@@1anre fbo stands for “full bolt ons” meaning all of the easy upgrades that bolt onto a car, such as exhausts and intakes
Really torn between street vs race. How much louder are we talking between the two if I have stock front pipe and down pipe? I want a bit of noise but I don’t want to be annoyed on long road trips at highway speeds.
Does the race version really give out that much turbo whistle noise in person? If so I’ll buy it right now!!!!

It's got a downpipe and frontpipe on it, essentially 3in turbo back. one cat and one muffler. But yes, it does actually give that much turbo spool in person.

Not sure which option to go with. I have the PRL catted Downpipe on my Si and i don’t know if that will make the street version a little louder and make the race version just too much. Please help 🥲

The downpipe will definitely make whatever catback you choose louder. The car in this video has an upgraded downpipe, so you can assume it will sound similar between the two options.

This will not. Catback exhausts do not include any sensors, meaning the car doesn't even know it's been changed. So no check engine light!

How are you able to bypass the 4k soft limiter? Is it tuned out or is there something else?

I believe it is disabled if you turn off all driver assists (TC and SC).

Really want to get the Race one but the cops in LA are freaking lame, they stop you for any little sound. Might just have to cop the Street, and even then I worry 😮💨

Hey! A lot of the turbo manufactures for these cars have been discontinuing their products due to lack of interest unfortunately. However, Precision still makes their bolt-on 550hp turbo!
