Mapa is the largest scale map of Scotland in existence and is an incredible educational resource. It’s completely walkover and provides a wealth of educational opportunities for schools, community and corporate groups. There is no better way to get to know the geography of Scotland.
The map is printed with Ordnance Survey topographical maps at the 1:50,000 scale (Landranger series) in large jigsaw pieces covering the whole of Scotland - including all the islands. Islands such as St Kilda are in their correct locations and not as insets. Mapa, including the Shetland Islands, is 15m long by 8m wide. Without the Shetland Islands it is 11m x 8m.
