It's our final vlog from this Taupo New Zealand travel series and it's a bloody great one, what a sail out on the lake! Kicking things of with a must do, sailing on lake Taupo with Taupo Sailing Adventures. This is a sustainable sailing tour on Lake Taupo cruising out to see the Mine Bay Maori Rock Carvings by artist Matahi Brightwell. It always comes back to food... and how could it not! Lunch was more of a dessert than anything, but with a name like Suga Mummas Stace was more than prepared for that haha. After grabbing some supplies then it was on to our unique Taupo accommodation, this was proper comfortable semi-off-the-grid living! Totara Perch is about 25 minutes from Taupo and 10 minutes from Kinloch, it's setup with a 1 bedroom hut, 1 living & dining hut, and outdoor covered bathroom

The food was yummy this places so beautiful.
The rock carving was stunning and I agree with you Stacey how impressive it is given the location of it! You guys had the right idea with the sailboat too. Kayaking can be fun, but I get easily tuckered out on those things so knowing my luck, I wouldn't make it to the rock! I have to try ice cream on chips after watching this video! 🍟🍦

Wauw you both sure find the most Amazing place to visit / staying & find new Foods to eat ( yum yum ) The sailing that carving was Stunning ,the work that went in to it ( danger too 🫣) Love the view from your Airbnb really off the Beaten Track, but the best way to enjoy that Scenery ❤ Enjoy the Rest of your Week take care 🥰

We did this in June. We kayaked out with my son. Definitely recommend the kayaking tour if you can!
