I've reviewed a LOT of podcast equipment on this channel, including many portable podcast studios. None have been as popular as the Maonocaster Lite that I reviewed last year. Now, Maono has released an updated version that answers a lot of the requests that many users have asked for. It now includes independent mic controls, XLR input, 11 customizable sample pads, and a sleeker interface with the ability to monitor 6 separate levels at once. Additionally, they've upped the build quality of the microphone and stand substantially. While it takes some finesse to dial in the right sound (i.e. the distortion I experienced from having the EQ knobs too high), it's not a dealbreaker.
