Hey man thanks a lot for making this vid! I was a bit worried that I'll have to flip between two different vids reviewing the mics and comparing the two but then I found yours. So thanks for making a highly specific but very convenient video! and also I ended up getting the maono mic since it felt like it was better overall. I'm not an audio guy I just wanted a mic upgrade and the maono one sounded better for me.

Nice review man you showed the pickup when standing far away. Other reviewers dont show that. Reason is sometimes I am doing something away from the desk while on a call and I need to decide how both mics can pick up sound.

Just started my YT channel and badly needing a budget mic that will improve my (boxy sounding) voiceovers. Glad to have found this vid!

I was in between these two mics and you definitely helped a lot! I’ll go with maono for my guitar playing. It’s cheaper and has a nob gain which is super useful. Btw, keep up the good work bro 👍

i think the tapping on the desk should be a part of testing any mic. its so helpful. thanks man. for me i prefer the razer. bc its picking up less noise from tapping around desk and keyboard. its best for people in online classes. which is my use case.

Thanks a lot for this comparison! Seiren sounds more processed and reminding me of a headset mic. Maono sounds bit more natural

hello tobias! i just wanted to ask whether it's necessary to get some sort of adapter to put the au-pm461tr on a generic boom arm? i saw another review that talked about needing some kind of adapter and just wanted to make sure. thanks for the great videos!

I do agree with your microphone review. The Maono had a much richer sound.

are there alot of difference between maono au ao4 and pm461tr

after uploading to adobe podcast to enhance it, im guessing it wont sound any much different unless it's for streaming

Hi, i have razer seiren mini which is i used to record my song cover but suddenly it has a static noise and i dont know why. Im using it on my iphone 6plus via lighting to usb. First i think its about the lighting to usb cause it say its for only IOS 13-15 but my iphone 6 plus is only IOS 12.5. Before there is no static noise even though the adapter support IOS 13, can you help me out what i have to do? Thank you

i was wondering should i get fifine am8 or maono pd200x but i saw that in my country those mics are at about 100$ price. but the razer is about 40$ in my country! thats wiered but true.

Were these raw audio or filtered?

The Maono sounds boxy to me, whereas the razor sounds flatter with a more balanced frequency response, which would require less work in post. I can't see the placement for the guitar segment but they don't sound like they are in the correct position. Also neither of these mics should be used with their included stands.

You didn't emphasize the seirin mic

Maono PM461TR or hyper x solocast

As a gamer my desk noise while playing would vibrate a lot into the moano compared to the razer product I think.

Good observation! I also think the razer mic is designed for gaming. I don't have much experience gaming with a mic so it's kind of hard for me to say which is better for gaming

This is the raw audio, the only thing I really do in post is adjust the volume levels

I think Razer Seiren Mini sounds best when it's closer to your mouth. I watched some reviews and it didn't sound all that impressive on the desk. Maono is higher up than the Razer Mini so that probably gave it a more fuller and bassier sound. I'm still torn between them!

I've never used it with an Android, but it worked with my iPhone so I believe it should work with an Android as well. Just as a heads up, it won't work with phone calls, mainly just for recording videos

Bought the moano one ❤yet to arrive. Its 1,341rupees in amazon india, 17$ us dollar. 🤑😇 very reasonable price.

@@JmsRyvn Honestly the sieren sounds bad too but a little better. The Maono has a really loud noise floor. For vocals I'd probably go with the sieren.
