I disagree with the commentators. Mao was not lacking in emotion during her performance, just look at her expression close-up.

I wonder why a sincere person like Mao is kind of unpopular among North American commentators? Mao is a great skater and always friendly to anybody. She never complains nor makes any negative comments. If you watch her closely it's difficult to dislike her.

I dont get these two commentators keep talking about Yuna during Mao's performance, im not against yuna but cmon she's just about to start her performance and it seems like your telling her she's not gonna make it...

wtf...throughout this entire sp all the commentators do is talk about how great kim yuna is and how mao is losing her game....wow...i rly dont get what is so Godly about kim yuna. i really feel that she and mao each have their strengths and weaknesses....i dont undersatnd why yuna is elevated to status of queen high above mao

I love this program, so beautiful jumps, spins, spirals and steps. Mao is a ballerina on ice and the most talented skater. God bless she!!!!!

one of the two commentators is just unbelievable, she just cant let go of Yuna. isn't this Mao's programme.
The triple axel looked fine to me. Even Tara who was attacking her throughout the program said, "I think it was all the way around." when she was looking at the instant replay. I really don't trust tech crews. There often seems to be an "agenda" or "reputational scoring" component (RCS instead of PCS) to their decisions that belies the actual jump itself.
