Every year I visit my partner in Taiwan and travel and visit with him within Taiwan and Asia. Only one year I was taken ill one day before my flight. He then immediately flew to Canada to care for me. When my father was in hospital for heart conditions and artery replacement my partner attended each visit to the hospital. Last year when father departed my partner was by my side for the celebration of life services. A partner that cares so much I love dearly.

Yes my partner is a Taiwan citizen. It was a bad year 4 him. He endured radical prostate cancer treatment. He would not allow that until I had returned to Canada. Then after only one week he lost his mother! Next is the 49th day ceremony and then later the 100 day one. Through all this we talk every day possible. I wish him to gain a residency certificate for Canada then he will have more freedom to travel. So much to share and enjoy in life. Best to be together as much as possible.

For days now I've been watching/listening to this video to try and find just the right words to say... Rarely have I watched a video that in such an amazing way carries you off on a journey right from the first note and picture. A journey so full of feelings, of happiness, beauty and the strongest love. This music is no less than perfect for Dai&Mao. Absolutely perfect! So like always, all I can say is, Thank you. Your comment comes at the right time because I have been feeling down with the news of Hamao Kyousuke's retirement. It was so very sad to Mao in tears as he made his public statement of leaving the entertainment world a few days ago. I will miss seeing him so much :(

I think it is so very wonderful that a shared interest in photography brought you together, but an enduring love made you stay together despite tremendous challenges of distance. Aww Misty, you're not the only one. We'll all miss him. But if we try to look at the bright side, he's still young, and even if he takes a break for a few years, he can still come back and brighten our world. And who knows, maybe this "break" is also just to give himself a little time to be with his Dai-chan while being out of the public eye... ;) No matter what, those two are just one of the sweetest couples ever! And that'll never change.:)

Awww thank you so much for your sweet comment! I certainly appreciate it! I really wanted to not only show the emotion between Mao and Dai, but the progression of their friendship as it grew over the years between the filming of the different Takumi-kun movies. I like how it shows how awkward they were in the beginning when they had to do intimate scenes and how natural it became for them later on, despite the many demands that were put on them during the filming. I hope I captured that! :)

Hi Misty, Ha Ha Ha - no I am regular Caucasian guy, I worked hard to gain about 100 expressions for Mandarin - but eventually forgot -as my partner learned English. He speaks Taiwanese and Mandarin. Over the years many students tried to get Japanese, Spanish & German into my head - but eventually these bits slip away for lack of use. By basic French has mostly faded as well. Photography first joined us and deep feelings followed. That all began in 2000.

Because of the genre of the Takumi-kun series, the boys had to really develop and build trust in one another to make those intimate scenes believable and I could really see how much they had grown throughout the series.
