If the guideline says in the manuscript , you should use double line spacing. Should I include the references?

Usually references are single line spacing as based on journal guidelines.

@@_RahulKashyap The journal says for preparing main manuscript text: use double spacing..without any specification...should I include references or not? By the way this is the guideline of BMC Journal
