Скорее, втулок или роликов, трубой это не назвать. Технология действительно 19 века, сталь они плавят в ковше, напоминающем ковш Бессемера. И качество соответствующее, стойкости у роликов не будет никакой поэтому все эти молодцы будут постоянно заняты делом. Производство деталей методом ВТМПО это не просто лить непонятный расплав в крутящийся обрезок трубы. Кстати о трубах - первоначальный образец для заливки был сделан с применением современных технологий, протяжкой и штамповкой. Сами пакистанцы с такими технологиями на это не способны, так же как и произвести станки для обработки всего этого. Значит они просто подъедаются с крошек цивилизации первого мира.

Бывал в подобном цехе. Цех центробежного литья труб. До 960мм в диаметре. Делают тоже биметалл. Не знаю в каком году, но была авария: оторвалась заглушка от кокеля(форма где формируется труба) и несколько тонн жидкого металла выплеснулось в цех. Погибли и обгорели люди. А тут просто в шлепках.

Какая разница в чем сгорать, в шлепках или в сапогах? Вот почему им на ноги искры и брызги не летят? Как они не спотыкаются в своих тапках обо всякий хлам, который везде в так называемом "цехе"? Перешлю видео инженеру по технике безопасности. Лишь бы его инфаркт не хватил.

That's sad. No one should have to work in those conditions. These workers are heroes and probably only work in a place like this because of a lack of other opportunities

it would be easier to have the spinning cylinder in between the two melting pots all workd will be done in half the time and at half the cost (the melting pots should be on train tracks to move them in and out easly )

Nobody can deny the highly skill workers from all the videos done in that mysterious country that is not named, but...in this century of incredible advances in technology in machineries and advances in the health and safety of the workers, this production of anything is a mockery of the bare use of humans, even children, with no safety equipment at all, as is this were the ancient times of slavery. I am totally sure that the owners of these "FACTORIES" are all millionaires. I am in awe watching these workers, but I am ashamed to realize that these factories still exist in the 21th century. I don't care if many curse me and my comment, but, put yourselves in these situations if this were allowed in Canada, the USA or any country in the western world. In spite of everything that I wrote, at least, this shows the resilience of humans to adapt to any situation to survive, even in the worst of these situations. One day, workers of that country, you will get to know the power of the organizations of the workers.

One day all of these slave factories are going to disappear when the workers realize that somebody is getting rich with their hard work while at the same time they, the workers, live a miserable life. Keep on showing these videos so the people on the countries that are developed can see that they can change this in the United Nations.

Where the main character is stuck on some backwater medieval planet and is forced to organise production line for some starship parts using native savages labor. Similarity is in that - rather sophisticated parts(at least look like such ones and should be, frankly speaking) created with almost primordial tools, efforts and conditions.

I understand the horrible working conditions. But some of this shit is like, common sense safety. When they pull out that red hot cylinder, right behind them is a whole pile of random crap unrelated to the task at hand, just waiting to be tripped over, they would pull the cylinder over with them and crush or burn their partner. Guys doing absolutely nothing are standing by as if to help, but really are just a hazard to themselves and the people actually working. A nightmare
