Childhood Hero. Met him when I was eight in Gelsenkirchen, Germany when he played for my team Schalke. He was so genuine and kind. Will always be one of my favourite players.

Schalke Neuer was very underrated
The greatest goalkeeper of all time without any doubt. He lifted goalkeeper position on whole new another level. He won Treble with Bayern 2 times. He won 2014 World Cup with Germany and was best goalkeeper of that tournament. He was voted best goalkeeper of year 5 times. Simply to say.... THE WALL AND THE GOAT
I find it hilarious how time and time again people say Neuer isn't World class anymore and Neuer is just like: *laugh " You serious?"

Well to be honest, he has struggeld from time time and i still think he is past his peak. Neuer 5 years ago was like from an other planet. But that only shows you how high his peak was. Even after that he is still able to keep up with the very best and stil able to win the bigest titles

The BEST goalkeeper ever , he deserves so much ,
His name is ManWall Neuer, he changed goalkeeper game for ever, high defensive line would be impossible without goalkeeper like him. Yashin, Casillas, Buffon, Kahn were all extraordinary goalkeepers, but if you ask me who is the best among this legends, it clearly is Neuer.

People don't know how important he is. Bayern was able to play the high line only because this guy was in goal. Such calm and collected he is!! He truly is the G.O.A.T. Thanks captain, you made the dreams of your team and your fans come true.

Many other keepers have good reflexes and athleticism But you need to have Leadership and a winning mentality to be, The Manuel Neuer

Consistent, never spills the ball/conceding easy balls, not showdiving, positioning and handling is outstanding, still incredible reflexes, Neuer is still the best keeper.
I'll just say one thing and i hope you read this one day Neuer... Thank you for beeing a part of Bayern, we love u ❤

I mean he equals Casillas GK award, 2 trebles, a WC is already enough to level them. Oh yeah don't forget he revolutionized the Sweeper Keeper role (not an important part to be in the "GOATkeeper" conversation but still his trademark

Der Zocker um genau zu sein hat er sich im Viertelfinale der CL gegen Real 2017 verletzt, hat dann am 3. Spieltag 17/18 wieder gespielt und hat sich wieder am selben Knochen wie zuvor verletzt und konnte dann erst bei der WM 2018 wieder spielen

Also I can see him winning goalkeeper of the year again 2021 so then he would have the most at the moment hes tied at 5 with casillas, worldcup 2 championsleague he could potentially add another one. When people say Lyon and other teams did not take their chances ..I just laugh because taking your chances when he is in goal is very hard. ...truth is when u go back n watch those matches u will see that they were actually good shots they just were incredible saves
