Back out to the beaver dam for round 2. He built the dam back up in short order but it is far less reinforced. Armed with shovel and rake we once again dismantle the dam and gain a foothold for future operations
Sadly, high, rushing water put the camera in peril and I had to tend to it several times.

Next time try a Potato Rake it will work better than the short tooth rake :)

Yes it does seem like a superior tool. We do not have a potato rake for now. We harvest our potatoes by hand. We will search our tool shed for something similar until we can find one. We have big rains coming in the next few days. We will need to open it up again afterwards.
