Maybe it's about efficiency. Manual trans offers less maintenance expense. Mas safe siguro ang manual because maaanti sleep ka dito when long drive. Driving a manual car gives greater driving skill.

In general I think less human error lalo na pag datign sa bagay na pwedeng buhay ang kapalit pag na disgrasya, will always be preferable. So para sakin matic na talaga ang magiging future ng consumer driving. Di narin ganun ka mahal ang technology niya ngayon at paliit ng paliit ang price difference ng manual sa auto. Tagal ko din sa manual pero for the past years matic na talaga auto purchase ko at ng family ko. Manual will always be preferable sa mga tao na talagang hobby ang mga sasakyan nila at na eenjoy ung feel ng manual driving. Dami rin ako tropa na di binitawan mga manual na sasakyan. But for me, lipas na manual days and definitely any new car purchase will be automatic.

The s2000 is my weekend racer/track car. I also own a 2018 accord with autotragic transmission lol. I prefer the accord for long trips and grocery getter. 👍

Nagkamanual ako for 6 years at ngayon ay matic naman. Matic ang gusto ko. Pinagsisihan kong kumuha ako dati ng manual. Naniwala kasi ako sa kung anu-anong comment ng iba. Sa matic, less aksidente kasi hindi na abala ang isang kamay mo sa kakahawak ng kambyo sa mahabang byahe. And kung kailangan mo naman magbabad to maintain force, may manual mode naman ang matic, pasaltik saltik ka lang ng napakhina, nkakambyo na. Hehehe. I will be matic for life.

Automatic if driving in the US. Manual if in the Phils. Since parts are usually imported & manual last much longer vs Automatic, mntc is expensive. plus at the end of life of the Car (10-20yrs) .. automatic can NOT outlast manual and you are at the mercy of the manufacturer if they decide not to produce the parts.

Tama yon boss para relax yong transmission at maiwasang mabungi yong gear ng auto matic transmission.. Ganon rin po ginagawa ko, lalo na yong sa stop light nag neutral ako at preno sa paa ang gamit ko para, hindi mapwersa yong transmission

hiram proof ang manual sa mga new drivers pero kung mas priority mo ang pag se cellphone habang nag na drive matic ang para sayo

Gustong gusto ko talaga ang manual kasi alam kung hirap akung matoto duon. At mas challenging kesa sa automatic, para pag mag maneho ka ng automatic review mo nlang ang kambyo at okay na goods na. Kaya mas maganda parin para sakin ang manual kasi dito dapat mag sisimula ang lahat.

When I was still learning how to drive a vehicle, that's when I'm still at 6th grade and 12 years of age, wayback in 1996, we had an owner type jeep. Eventually, I learned how to drive the manual transmission thing. Also we had a Honda TMX motorcycle during that time and learned how to drive it. I enjoyed driving these vehicles for so long, almost a decade. At present, I already tried driving AT vehicles and AT scooter motorcycles, such as Ford Ranger FX4, Mitsubishi Expander, Toyota Vios, Yamaha Aerox, Yamaha NMAX, Mio Sporty 115 and Honda Click 125i. In my opinion, it's a better choice for me to drive a manual transmission 4-wheels than AT. I hate the fact that AT cars got issues with their transmission gear box. I always notice that they become harder to manipulate as time goes by. Their transmission gear boxes are prone to being stuck up. I guess manual cars are pretty better to drive. However with motorcycles, I would prefer CVT scooters over manuals especially here in Metro Manila where it is easier to drive and roam around the metro, no issues with CVT scooters. ✌️

once na master mo na kc yung manual trans. jan na papasuk yung muscle memory iwan basta hahaha manual user ako ..pero nag ddrive din ng matic .no choice 2 lang kaming driver sa family haha

for me mas prefer ko tlga manual lalo na madali ako antukin sa byahe.. but considering na magiging traffic na pa-unti2x sa mga province i think AT would be a practical choice especially on the long run..

i have both ford escape (at) and corolla bigbody (mt) and have driven various mt and at, cvt cars and masasabi ko lang kung mahilig ka sa driving tlga manual padin tlga the best kahit daily driving pa

Lady manual driver here po na medyo kamote

if i own 1 of this either manual or automatic, if i am driven in province and dont go to the metro manila are. i prefer a Manual Car and if you are in the city like manila and your always there, like working or rounding daily to manila i prefer a Automatic bcoz too much traffic to the metro manila.. mapapgod ka sa traffic

Isa lang naman problema ng automatic sa manual yung maintenance lalo na pag medyo luma na asahan x2 ang gastos sa automatic lalo ns sa transmission. Pero comfortability automatic talaga medyo boring lang kasi wala ka ng gagawin☺

Hey boss Lessandra GenTri lng din bahay ko ph1 malapit sa tulay hehe ako for me AT para sa mga katulad ko begginer na 1st time maka drive ng kotse madali siya drive at matutunan hindi ako dumaan sa school driving kasi kapos sa budget pero willing ako dumaan sa school driving para mas lalo lumawak ang kaalaman ko sa kalsada. Sa YT lang ako natuto mag drive ng sasakyan noon una ilag at takot pa ako mag drive pero ilan days lang sumabak na ako sa kalsada para mag drive then bagay ang AT sa mga matratrapik na lugar then sa paakyatan di ka pa mamatayan ng makina pa notice po ako d2 boss Dennis hehe.

Maintenance cost halos pareho,automatic malakas sa preno,manual malakas sa clutch pag clutch driver,ngayon pag pina luma un dalawa,mas magastos ang automatic kaysa manual lalo pag papalitan na un automatic transmission,sobrang tagal masira ng automatic transmission na torque converter,mas maiksi ang buhay ng Ags,Cvt at Dct,at the end of the day maintenance is the key.

pag automatic kasi 60,000km to 80,000km lang takbo need mo na ebenta kasi pasera na ung transmission ... kung papaayos mo naman maghanda kana ng 150,000 or more for cvt transmission

Tingin ko kung magamay lang ng isang newbie driver ang manual baka mas piliin nya ang manual😂😂😂....ang kagandahan din kase sa manual kontrolado mo lahat yung speed yung downshift....kumbaga ikaw ang masusunod hindi yung makina....parang in comparison gusto mo nang mag downshift halimbawa pero sa matic hindi pa pala para sa kanya...yun lang naman plus yung unintentional sudden acceleration....walang ganyan sa manual

If ang byahe mo is mostly sa province ka then lumuwas ka to metro manila every other weekends okay padin ba yung automatic? Lagi din naman traffic sa province at slex pa manila 🤣
